How to buff the trickster

So with the resident evil chapter upon us I think we can all agree that trickster is by far the worst killer in the game. Either playing against him or as him, the games end up being incredibly short, easy or bad. Most have to rely on slugging, tunneling and such to win games and even then it might involve only earning 1 to 2 kills.

So how do you fix the trickster to be better? Here are my suggestions to fix him.

First, Ricochet blades should be base kit. Unlike killers like huntress and deathslinger, missing your shots is more harmful to trickster. It takes multiple hits to get a survivor down a health state unlike huntress who only needs to hit one hatchet. Around loops especially is very difficult for trickster, having the blades ricochet once would help end chases sooner and not punish him as bad for missing multiple blades.

Second is main event. Main event is literally one of the worst power boosts on the game at the moment. Unlike someone like Oni who gets a major benefit from hitting survivors and earning blood to get his demon dash, trickster doesn’t get the same treatment like he should. First have main event last until you use it. You can still throw blades but I don’t understand why if you don’t use your power it goes away. I never use main event because I’m never is a scenario where I can use it. Main event is best used to hit multiple survivors since he throws unlimited knives for a duration and much faster. However there’s no real way to use this ability when you can’t choose when to activate it.

Main event should be like Oni’s demon dash. Where once you hit enough blade shots you can then hold main event until you’re in prime position to use it. Then have to fill up the meter all the way again, to use main event again.
