I went from 9 to 14 and have been exclusively matched with potatoes.

I don't know but its pretty unfair for those that work full time and can't play as much. I go 14-11 both sides and then back to 14 again after reset.

Well from what we're being told, rank isn't supposed to be a factor anymore.. only MMR.

I remember the days of rank reset putting you back to green ranks if you were red ranks

I can't wait for the new mmr system to take place. I've got other games to play. Having to maintain a certain rank so that I'll finally get teammates who know when they have BT is exhausting.

I went from 3 to 5 as a survivor and my first matches were the most horrible experience ever.
3 matches in a row against bubbas straight out tunneling the living hell out of me for some reason. Heck, 2 of them (different players) had dying light and I was the obsession. And there I was, running totem hunting builds for the archive (no items). All 3 of them stopped doing w/e they were doing and came back straight to me.
Because I'm a boosted potato as a survivor even with 2,7k hours, You can guess the outcome. Very enjoyable, but that is quite honestly my experience with most if not all rank resets since 2016.

Classic after reset sweatfest. People playing like their life depends on being in red for some reason.
And Im just here trying to learn Oni just to get haddonfield and lerys every game vs sweaty gen repairmen :)

Of course ranking is bugged after I get reset. I’m going to be at rank 13 for a while.
