Opinion on new "expansion pack" DLCs?
The Steam store page now has $30 DLCs with all the killers & survivors (important to note that it's ONLY the 11 original chapters)
It's technically a better deal than buying all original chapters but only if they're not on sale. We'll have to wait and see if the expansion packs get a good discount like the other chapters frequently do.
There's also exclusive charms, I just know some poor sap is gonna buy these for $30 despite already owning all the DLCs.

I'm guessing the idea is for people who are just new after RE chapter. The funny thing is,
When there's a new chapter all the old DLC goes on sale 30% or 40% (on steam). That makes it a better deal than this new bundle.

I like the idea, bundling them all together as long as it states it does not include licensed killers, however it's not going to help us older players whose ocd makes them buy new chapters as soon as they release lol

A massive slap to the face. I like collecting every DLC and charm that I can, but there's absolutely zero way I'm forking over £50+ for two charms. I actually hate this so, so much.

I feel similar. I like collecting full chapters because I believe in playing both sides, plus those exclusive (but underwhelming) outfit pieces or charms.
They're very reminiscent of the majority of the Rift charms. Stuff nobody would use anyway. But it's a bummer to miss out.

With this patch, they seem to be focusing on new players. I suppose these bundles are meant to be less intimidating for the new blood coming into the game.

We'll have to wait for the future. Since BHVR never puts a thing on sale when it's just released, maybe for later chapters it'll go on discount like every DLC does, and remain a good deal.
Still means nothing to me since I'm 10 chapters deep though.

New players unless they're on console because the FPS is so bad for PS4 from what I've heard the game is literally unplayable

With enough fuss they will change this. I know in a few other games when they've done this, people have been outraged and they added away to acquire the exclusive cosmetic for free to owners of all the DLCs. They could do that here as well, if someone already owns all of those characters, the store can recognize that and provide the charm for free.

I agree, once an original chapter becomes old enough, it would be a nice gesture to make it free, like how Console versions have Doctor/Feng & Hag/Ace included in their game.

Same, I like to collect things in a game when I can, even if I won't use them. I just finished to complete my OG collection last week, not going to buy these even if I'd like to earn the charms.
I have nothing against the fact people got exclusive skins because they are playing the game since day one. I know I won't have these and I'm fine with it because I wasn't there at this moment.
But these two charms... I don't know... I feel like we could have them if we own all the OG DLC already. 🤷🏻♀️
