Linking Steam to BHVR Account
Can a Dev or Mod confirm without a shadow of a doubt that I am not going to lose progression linking this because i am super conflicted i want to link my steam just to have it linked but at the same time i heard people lost their entire progression because of it. Is it actually safe now and is there a system that backlogs everything in my account like skins cosmetics charms etc?

I dont know if this is a newer issue but when i linked mine i almost felt like it just merged everything on both accounts. The other thing to keep in mind is that there is no point in linking if your only playing on one platform

Yeah but i heard you possibly get the campfire charm from linking so i may just link steam just to get it.

I linked my steam account to my bhvr account and haven’t lost any progress. The key thing to remember is when you unlink your account it sets it back to the original progress.

You should not lose any progress, as your progress from both accounts get merged and put together basically. However, if you do end up unlinking them, both accounts will return to their original state they were before linking them, so this is important to keep in mind. I've had mine linked for ages in hope they will be adding cross progression for switch soon... any day now I pray :'(
