Do you think Wraith was over-buffed?

I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about Wraith's buffs. Personally, I strongly believe he was, as every single match I've played against a Wraith has not been a fun time, in any sort. If you go against a semi-competent Wraith he just will not lose you, and no matter what distance you gain, he makes it back within seconds due to how fast he is when cloaked.

Not to mention his insane speed boost when uncloaking, he has enough speed to safely hit around most loops because of his insane lunge. Pair that with Coup de Grace and you'll get any hit you want.

Don't get me wrong, I know he was a mediocre/bad Killer before his buffs, but I just find every single match against him completely unfun, and when playing as him it took little effort to achieve 4k's at Purple Ranks with nothing but tracking add-ons.

All they did was make his invisibility actually invisible, and make a couple of addons that were previously required, no longer required.

He's the same exact killer, but with a purple add-on made base-kit. The lunge is exactly the same as it was pre-buff, except for the addition of 0.25 seconds to his uncloak speed boost, which doesn't affect the lunge's duration.

Base-kit Wraith is balanced. He has so much counterplay. Windows, pallets, looping, all that jazz. The only unbalanced things about him are All-Seeing add-ons and Coxcombed Clapper (silent bell). Other than that, he's in a great spot.

Wraith's add-ons have always been good but you couldn't use most of them because you almost always use windstorm for the speed. Now that he doesn't need it anymore, he can use other strong add-ons and that's why he feels oppressive. It's like playing a killer with 3 strong add-ons.

And his lunge buff is something he should have always had. A good anti loop tool. Has mindgames involved. It seems fair to me.

To some degree... Idk if it's just me, but his lunge just seemed so much longer now after his speed boost which I have not been a fan of. I've never been a wraith fan either (as and against).

I just wish there was more detection (without perks) toward him now since he can get from point A to point B in a matter of seconds while stealth. As of rn, I think he's the best stealth killer imo since he can stealth + traverse so well.

The traversal is something I 100% agree with, and it's the same issue I have with Spirit (besides the whole no counterplay bit), and it's invisible speed. He moves so fast when invisible that he makes any distance you gain useless, and as you said the lunge is just so insane on him.

Minus possibly a few add-ons I think he's fine has good strengths. But still plenty of counters. He's balanced.
