Is there any point to using main event as trickster?

Cause honestly I find it to be useless basically any time I use it

Main Event is really good when multiple survivors are around and there aren't many LoS blockers since it can shred health states. But since you can't hold on to it, you basically have to pray the stars align. It's possible to 99% main event, but that's not really worth it either.

The other use is since Main Event doesn't require ammo, you can use it if you run out of ammo and have main event active.

If you're camping or there's zero cover around. Otherwise, no. It's bad, just like his entire design from the ground up, aesthetics included. Missed opportunity of a killer imo.

It only gets use once or twice a match, but it has its moments. For example, using it when a survivor is unhooking in front of you is just a guaranteed two downs. Or when you have a good opportunity to use your blades but are out of ammo.

    Not usually, no.

Then again, there's no reason to play Trickster in general, so ######### it.

Main Event is good on the rare occasion when it triggers and you know you can laser down multiple survivors. Basically, if they unhook in your face or run into the basement.

Keep in mind that it's virtually impossible to aim perfectly in Main Event, since the high throw rate paired with recoil and the alternating throw-side offset is a nightmare.

It can also be good on specific tiles where you know there are holes you can throw through, but it would normally waste too much ammo to try.

yeah, the whole power stinks. I usually use it instead of the ring-around-the-rosey scenario

It takes so long to activate, that you are faster, when you use your regular knifes to attack a survivor and it also has a stun cooldown.

Its only useful in niche szenarios, rest of the time it is a disadvantage to regular knifes. Just activating it makes you loose time. And in the rare cases it is useful, it is not up.

You can use it maybe once every match if you are lucky without gaining much from it. I dont know why they made it only activatable in a short timeframe, they should make it always activatable as it stands right now or buff it to make it useable instantly without charge time animation.
