Why doesn't Shadowborn stack?
Like it just seems odd that you can't stack the effect, given the only other perk that increase the fov is Monitor and Abuse which increases it by a WHOPPING 3%... That's it, 3% increase. A maximum of 18%. And this 18% increase doesn't even last the whole game, because the second you enter a chase you lose that extra 3% for the duration of the chase.
Like why put this limit?

afaik if they allow it to stack your fov would clip into the model of the killer and make things very akward for all involved.

I always figured it was because the original release of Shadowborn became a "must run" given how wide the FoV it used to give. They learned from that point on not to give away to much FOV in subsiquent perks, thus the two we have don't stack.
To be fair though, the original Shadowborn FOV increase was crazy good.

During gameplay we never see the killers body aside from their legs and arms, and maybe lower torso. We never get to see them from the shoulders up aside from Docs hallucinations, Twins when we are controlling Victor, Freddy when teleporting, Spirit when phasing, and hag teleporting. The only way to see the killer outside of normal gameplay is with a mori.
So knowing this is all they have to do is make the killers head and upper torso contort further backwards to accommodate, and make this effect client side.

While we're on the subject, is Shadowborn still good for Nurse? I'd like to learn her eventually, but I'm not sure if leveling up Wraith to 40 when he sucks, two out of his three perks are #########, and the third is situational at best is worth it.
Is Shadowborn worth using on anyone other than Nurse, for that matter? I hear people saying it works with her because it negates the temporary blindness caused by her blink cooldown, but does a FOV increase really make that much of a difference for any other killer? I run M&A almost every game, and I don't really even notice that aspect of the perk making a difference.

Yes. It also makes it easier to hit survivors.

It's actually 10° on Tier 3 which would turn your total FoV to 112°. Quake Pro in dbd, it would actually be kinda funny.

It's good. I'd probably not use it to learn her though. It's nice to use as a treat from time to time, but if you use it in every build you're gonna become reliant on it and it'll mess with you if you play without it.
