Flashbangs should have a limit and more delay.
Just had trial against a Team of Davids and Leons. Mid Chases there will always be a click noise and a second later a Flashbang. I still cant react to it on time... I don't know if I suck or it's just that strong. I got hit by Flashbangs in 6 Chases and the other two Flashbangs was a miss (6+ Flashbangs in the trial). It was annoying af. Leon and David swarming a downed Claudette so they can get the Flashbang save. Can you guys at least give me delay or a more obvious que? Currently it's basically Skill Checks to look up mid chases for Killers.
On a side note tried to kick a 99% done Generator with Pop only to get Blast Mine in the face and the Blendette finishing it, while chasing the Blendette, David decided to bodyblock for the Blendette only for me to lose the chase because of a Flashbang.

No.

Its the same time as a firecracker or party starter. 2 seconds. You'll hear the hiss then just look up until the boom then look again. The hiss is pretty loud.

No that def sounds like a properly team mind you surv dont have many tools to counter at least now flashlights are basically not worth it anymore. The trick is to just look at their hands youll eventually know when a flashbang is in effect

The flashbang is not strong enough to warrant this. The distance and timing required to succesfully blind is simply too precise.

I know, I can eventually adapt to them but it's just frustrating that you're so focused on how the survivors will move in chases that the Flashbang always catch me by surprise.

If it makes you feel any better, I was playing Blight earlier on Haddonfield and I was bee-lining at crack speed on the sides, behind the house where its narrow and a Leon dropped a flashbang around the corner and it went off as soon as I bounced around the corner and I almost ######### myself lol.

sounds like just getting outplayed by a swf team. just takes practice to dodge is all.

I think Flashbangs are fine as is.
I have more of an issue with Blast Mine than Flashbangs due to the lack of really being able to counter it. Head On at least can be baited once you know someone has it. I just think 5 second stun/blindness is too much for Blast Mine and should be reduced to 3.

I don't really see the problem they are practically reskinned firecrackers put into a perk

Ehh... no thanks. The perk is just a meme rn, don't make it less fun than it already is.
It's easily countered by looking up.

I would recommend running Lightborn for a bit and just listening for the sound and try to understand the timing.

thats why you dont drop a bang in chase unless you can hug a corner and do it so they dont see your dropping animation

If you have a problem with flashbangs, then boy are you not gonna like flashlights.
2 -
no. they are glorified firecrackers. they're completely fine, mostly a meme perk but very fun to use.

Is it just me or are flashbangs much more quiet than firecrackers?
I barely hear them getting dropped.
It's weird

Flashbangs are fine as they are. They require precise timing to actually get any use out of them and killers can easily counter them by looking up.

Incorrect. Your back must be facing it or you get the blind. My first day after the dlc dropped i looked at the sky while carrying a survivor and they still got the blind off.

Yes, this seems more like it. based on experience I was feeling I suck at dodging them because I hear the click, I look up but still get the blind. If this is true that you need the flashbang to not be in front of your camera then I don't suck :D.

I look their hand like that i see them drop the flashbang this help a lot. Honestly its kinda hard blinding the killer with that so im sure they practice this a lot

A suggestion to counter flashbang crafting is to equip iron maiden so they are exposed after exiting

they definitely have a less noticeable sound queue, but i always hear them. i haven't not heard one since early in the PTB, and I've had about 10 thrown at me (in front of me and around corners) since the patch was released.
it might just be headphones/sound quality thing, not sure.

flashbags are fine I haven't been blinded by one once if you can get it behind you there's no reason to worry

Flashbangs do have few sound cues I noticed.
First is the metal clank when dropped, HOWEVER due to the amazing alpha version of sound occlusion that was designed by an intern at Burger King, it sometimes get completely muffled.
BUT
Survivors seemed to make groans or moans in these times, as if they pushed something huge and black out of their bodies... at least Leon did it.
To counter them just look into the sky for a second, or use lightborn and laugh at their attempts.
Lightborn also kind of works on Blasy Mine as it will show the aura of survivor who planted it for the 10 seconds.

Lightborn+blastmine =BBQ for gens.
But I think enduring should have some kind of reduced stun to blast mines, and mabye even all stun durations at this point in the game.

Look up? I don't even bother with that. Just step to the side of their path and look to that side. Half step left, look left. Half step right, look right.

I mean you can see them with the flash bang in there hand and it don’t go striaght off you can’t tell you see there hand throw it just look away or up …..

Flashbangs are not free, And Ive missed half my flashbangs. The survivors you played against practice. Gotta use perks to counter the meta these days. Try Iron Maiden, infectious fright, or starstruck. Flashbang is too new to not try. Delay is good, try looking up
