Possible license killers that should be in Dead by Daylight - Part 2
I think it's too early to talk about this, but it's always good to speculate a bit.
Part 1:
In the end I theorized between Mr. X vs Nemesis and the winner was Nemesis. Now I want to make an update with all the news that exists between the world of horror and video games about a possible new license chapter. Since with Resident Evil, there are few vacancies left.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Alien
Alíen is one of the licenses most requested by the entire community, I honestly see the indication that Alien could be the 6th anniversary chapter, but who knows, I will predict that it will be the sixth anniversary. So far they have made a concept of their gameplay and it fits quite well with the theme and setting of Dead by Daylight.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Five Nights at Freddy's
Another great license that the community has requested is Five Night's At Freddy's, currently a collaboration is not confirmed this year, so it leaves the door open for the next. With Resident Evil and Silent Hill ready, I think it would be the third game to enter Dead by Daylight. The only endorsement is that the survey is an option to choose and even more that the community wants to see it.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
The Evil Within
The Evil Within as a Dead by Daylight chapter may be possible, since we have Silent Hill and Resident Evil, it would make sense to have it here since its creator is the same as RE. As I understand it, a new game will come out perhaps for this year or next, as this year is the year of Resident Evil, the other could be time for The Evil Within. if it were the case, The Guardian would be the best option as Killer.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Candyman
Candyman was the license that has been most desired last year, reasons, for the 4th anniversary logo and for the premiere of his movie, my evidence for Candyman to be a reality in Dead by Daylight is that the actor who plays it, Tony Todd, who has been involved with Behavior and the developers through social media, the film will be released this fall and was one of the first options to choose in the satisfaction survey.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Hellraiser
Pinhead, the leader of the cenobite could be another candidate, he had already mentioned it before due to the conclusion of his lawsuit and that Clive Barker recovered the rights, now the remake of Hellraiser will be launched through streaming on HBO Max, this may be a hint and a perfect opportunity as happened with Resident Evil on its 25th Anniversary. But in this case, with the return of Hellraiser.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Child's Play
And of course, you could not miss Child's Play, Chucky the only character more iconic and available in addition to Jason and Pennywise. Chucky the devil toy. He is a possible candidate and they could become chapter 22 for 2 reasons, the first is that his series is released and is currently being shot, it could benefit Behavior so much to get the license this time since it is now or never . And the 2nd is because he is now a qualified character to enter Dead by Daylight.
Victor demonstrated it and Nemesis also, the dragging mechanics would be unique and different compared to others, also to think, Nemesis is a quite powerful character, but his power is basic, a tentacle attack, for a killer like Nemesis, to be able to enter Dead by Daylight, must be nerfed and here is the proof. If it were the case of Chucky, he would have to receive benefits until he balanced it like the rest.
Thanks for reading ^^

Chucky should NEVER be in Dead by Daylight.

cough Dead Space cough
I wanna run around the Ishimura as Isaac Clarke being chased by the Ubermorph and some Slashers.

First off, Chucky has no power or ability, nor even a secondary weapon that would make him work.
Secondly, Chucky is about the size of Victor, which would not only make playing against him feel frustrating, but also playing as him feel frustrating. He'd be the Oddjob or Yoda of this game. And believe me, no one liked either of those in Goldeneye or Soul Calibur, respectively.
Chucky is just far too small and far too powerless to really be a decent choice for a Killer.

These are all good suggestions, especially Alien. But what about some more video game licenses? I'd want to see:
- Dead Rising: Just a survivor paragraph for Frank West would be awesome. And now Zombies are a thing in DBD so it'll be even cooler
- Left 4 Dead: More L4D since Bill is pretty loved by the community (even if people play him infrequently)
- Hotline Miami: This is my most wanted license in the game. While not exactly horror, the game series has a ton of violence and death, so I think a killer paragraph would be super cool. Plus imagine all the skin possibilities they could sell.
- Bioshock: There's definitely material here, I'd love to see a Big Daddy as a killer, the hard part would be deciding who the survivor is.

The advantage of being small and silent would be unique in this game. The developers are creating new mechanics and new abilities, if it were the case Pig should never be here because he is nothing without his traps, but if he crouches basically he is equal to Chucky, small and silent. The developers love it and they said it in an interview like the whole community. So if possible.

With left 4 dead I thought it would be nice to have legendary skins, although a collaboration with Valve may be unexpected, although the rest should investigate further.

Chucky is my boi, my fav slasher. I am waiting for years. I hope one day i can kill survivors with him. And i can blind and tbag killer with Andy. Child's Play will be one of the best DbD chapters.
1 -
That's the thing tho. Pig has those traps in the movie, it isnt made up. Chucky has nothing

My vote is for Pinhead from Hellraiser. Could you imagine his ability being hooks that come out of the ground and keep you there for 10 seconds. Love Doug Bradley. Survivor being Kirsty.
However my husband thinks the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers would be awesome. Survivors would be Trisha and Derry.

You forgot the 4 animatronics from FNAF, I want them in DBD more than springtrap tbh Plus I made a WHOLE post about their power & addons
I'd also like the ring aka Samara as a killer

Chucky has power. He is voodoo master. There is so much great concepts for Chucky. And he is not small like people mentioned. He is taller than Victor, near to Hag. So i do not think that is gonna be problem. Also watch this video and say he will not be good in DbD.
And that can be him chase and TR music:
Also @Maperson had concept for Chucky. Chucky is not imposible. And he will be so fun and unique killer.

I'm 99% sure we'll have it this year or next.

I hope my friend. I wanna my fav killer in my fave horror game. I have 2 dreams: Clicky Clicky Andy & Uncle Chucky

Surely it would have a mechanic equal to Pyramid-Head, it could catch survivors on hooks, on the other hand Jeepers Creepers do not think it happens due to the reasons of the director of the game against the creator of the film.

Yes maybe, I think they work like Nemesis zombies or maybe they are playable Legion-style characters. The Ring would also be a very good license, I imagine they could put televisions on the maps and teleport through them or something like that.

Nah The post I made was that the 4 animatronics are already in the game and you can switch between them during a match, And all of them have unique abilities and have different movement speed & terror radius etc.

Alien would be pretty cool.
FNAF would be the only chapter I'd never buy except Jeepers Creepers (which the devs already said wouldn't happen)
Evil Within I'm unfamiliar with.
Candyman would be 'okay', but he's not really iconic. I'd put the likes of The Fisherman and The Miner above him tbqh.
Pinhead would be awesome. But so would Jason Vorhees, Lawsuits!
Not sure Chucky would work in DBD.

To be Honest I just want everyone at this point, It doesn't Matter if it's Friday the 13th, IT, Candyman, Five Night's at Freddy's, More Left 4 Dead content, Pinhead, Evil Within, Child's Play, or even Alien, as long as more licenses get in, it would still retain the name "The Hall Of Fame Of Horror", or in my terms, "The Smash Bro's Of The Horror Genre", which is awesome.
I'm just glad a game like this exists to begin with, even though it has plenty of flaws.

Where is fisherman from?

I Would love to seec characters from The Shinning. Jack Torrace as killer and and the wife or the kid as a survivor maybe both. Map would be the Overlook hotel or the maze.

Never played the Evil Within, but the Guardian looks freaking awesome.
While we're at it, we could get a Keeper skin for Trapper, and then a Sawrunner (from Cry of Fear) skin for Billy.

I know what you did last summer.

Had no idea the creator hated the director. Interesting.
0 -
Jason Voorhees is priority 1.
0 -
Rather, the director of the game hates the creator of Jeepers Creepers, since he was a pedophile, the good thing is that he lost the rights of Jeepers Creepers if I have heard correctly.
0 -
I honestly don't see why that's relevant though. I've never even come into contact with the franchise myself, but from what I hear, there's an alternate version (like a newer reboot or something?) of JC that isn't credited whatsoever to the original director (forgot his name.) Granting this all is true, then I don't see why his hatred for the original director would be any good reason to not go after the franchise. They could talk with the makers of the newer film/show or whatever it is and make a deal that in no way benefits the original director.

Yup, I agree with all of these. Some are definitely higher up on my want list but, I'd like to have a LOT of licenses get into DBD. The one and only exception is Jeepers Creepers, ######### that franchise. :)

By secondary weapon, I meant a weapon for his power, so in essence, he doesn't have much of a power aside from being a small, decently powerful and swift being; almost sounds like The Legion, in a way. And his ability to do voodoo magic wouldn't really fit in the context of Dead by Daylight since there's no situation in which he would feasibly be capable of going.
Also, no one finds Victor's small size frustrating or infuriating because he moves around fast, is normally used by people with accuracy problems, and he is just an extension of The Twins, not the main package. Imagine if you have to face a Killer who is just THAT small for the entirety of the game, with no penalty to hitting you, no way to beat them, and the ability to obscure themselves in areas small enough to make it almost impossible to tell where they're coming from.
Not to mention, Chucky's extremely small height would be the worst experience for the Killer. Again, Victor is only tolerable because he's not the main part of the two characters: Charlotte is. Imagine a Killer whose height is the size of Victor's, but they're a 110 or 115 Killer, and you have to play them for the entire game. You more than likely won't even notice that a Survivor's gone from a loop until it's too late, which would be frustrating.

Amnesia the dark descent would be a dope game licensed chapter

Did you watched video? Check first page. Chucky has power. Voodoo. If you can be creative you can use this power. For example he can teleport him sould to other Good Guys Babies for map mobility power. Or he will have power bar for voodoo. When it gets full, Chucky will use it. And he will get 300% movement speed for minute and survivors will get exposed statu etc. There can add so much powers for him. He will be small, so he can have high TR with music (i sent one video too about this, on first page). So survivors will understand Chucky is near to them.

Alien is my top pick for a licensed chapter in DBD. Its a horror / thriller icon and would add a killer and map that we havent quite seen before in the game. I think one of the strongest arguments for this actually happening is the map. With them confirming another new map is coming in the year (likely linked to a licensed chapter) I think Alien would be a great pick that would have a great and unique looking map.
