Is there an ETA on the RPD?
I'm certain people would like to know when this issue is going to be resolved and when we'll be able to play the map itself. It's a simple question to answer; will it be ready to come back any time soon?

updates/patches are often on Tuesdays, but even then it’s not a guarantee and doesn’t tell us if this Tuesday there will be something..

Easily could be delayed until midchapter update... Most likely they have to fix many things that they were postponing for months.

One of the cowshed maps took weeks to come back

Cowshed is not a licensed map with a likely very disgruntled licensor who saw assets being disabled just hours after release.

Exactly. I’m sure the devs are dealing with this with utmost urgency, ready for the hotfix in a few days.

Pretty sure they said as soon as it was possible. I'd imagine it's their top priority right now as it's a pretty big selling point for this chapter.

Trust me, this map better stay off. I played it a lot both as a survivor and as a killer in the PTB and for both of them it seems like a sh*t map.

I hope its never.. its a horrible map to play on (dont get me wrong it looks great). But if i load into this map with 80% of my killers i would be "plz shoot me".

Its the RPD from RE 2. Many people are going to play it for that reason alone. I'm saving up RPD map offerings now so I can have as many as possible when it comes back online.

I thought it had been reinstated when I got a RPD map offering in my Bloodweb, I used it and it sent me to another map but I lost the offering - pretty annoying, in the past when a map has been disabled the offering hasn't been lost, so I basically wasted 5k BP

Trust ME - I played it as both survivor and killer in the PTB as well and I enjoyed it greatly. Different strokes for different folks.
Nope. I have to play maps that I hate, and so do you. So does everyone. That's how this game works. Plenty of people want the map and we're looking forward to getting it.

It's going to be a nightmare. Glad DC penalties are off since I'm not playing on that map.

It actually isn't that bad man, it really isn't. I can sympathize with really hating a map, there are some I just can't stand either. But really, when I played it it wasn't the problem that everyone seemed to want to make it to be. Matches didn't take inordinately long (10 minutes for pretty much every one of them), people weren't just running around confused not able to find other characters or their goals, etc. Killers (though mostly Nemesis, true) didn't seem to have any trouble whatsoever getting kills. The games typically came down to 1-2 gens with the killer winning, which I find is often the case. In other words, in my experience, the map really wasn't much different from any other despite the size and complexity.
Give it a chance man, play it for a while when they reactivate it. You may still dislike it, but at least you might find that it's not the abysmal nightmare that you're expecting it to be. I mean at least it's not the swamp, right?

If you can't stand the opinions of others, just don't comment, you seem like a kid getting so defensive.
The map seems very bad to me, comparable to Hawkins, I just warn people who haven't played it so that you don't have high expectations. If in the end they play it and like it, good for them, but getting so defensive because my opinion is different from yours is from a very childish mind.

I think that using terminology that appears to be some kind of vague threat because you don't like something in the game is more childish than what I said, but I guess we all have our perspectives. As for being defensive I simply changed your script to offer my own take.
"The map better stay off". Of course someone's going to comment on a post like that. If YOU can't stand someone having an opinion that differs from your own, maybe you shouldn't invite them with such provocative statements.

You should have said "trust me, you better stop". It would have more accurately relayed your desire to command others.
