I agree. Cheating Killers or Survivors is definitely a legit excuse to DC. I also don't blame my teammates when they DC after being tunneled, but DC'ing because you got down and hooked 1 time in the first two mins of the match is complete and utter childplay. Had a teammate that hit their DS before getting hooked their first time & got downed again then DC'd, like when did we start doing this?purebalance said:@Nickenzie said:

I had a game yesterday where the SWF all ditched me at the start. One of them knew I was going to be ######### and did the (come here emote)
When I walked up to him he dropped his flashlight and they all left the game....

To the guy this morning who got Lery's twice in a row, with the same Feng, and disconnected super early in both games... f*ck you, mang!

Oh please, being tunneled is a terrible excuse for ragequitting. Can't take being chased? Why the hell do you even play this game?
Cheating is a valid reason I guess. But I can tell on PC there are hardly any cheating. Mostly it's just immature players accusing others of it, because they themselves can't take a defeat with a bit of dignity.
Maybe cheating is rampant on console, I don't know.1 -

It is possible, but as @Tsulan say's, mostly it's just latency issues. If I'm mid action and suddenly freeze then end up on already on a hook 5 seconds later, then and only then will I cry lag switcher.

Exactly! Everyone can have a lag spike. No one is at fault when that happens. But if my action shows no progress for 20 seconds, and i´m suddenly on the hook. THEN it´s lag switching.

This year I experienced 2 speed hacking survivors, noon else. Tunneling = DC

It’s really not. There are very few cheaters and few lag switchers. Many just use it as an excuse for why they lost. Lag is present and so are FPS drops, but actual cheating and lag switching is rare.
2 cheaters in 2018 (several more back in the days in 2017 though)
0 laggswitchers in 2018, 2 laggswitchers in 2017Those are my stats, btu on the other hand I get blamed pretty much every day for sth that I havent done, so....

Exactly this. Though even when someone is cheating I wouldn't DC because you'll get into a new game soon enough.
I don't understand why so many players think that "Tunneling" is somehow unfair, as if Killers should be less efficient and go for someone else who isn't injured, and may be better at looping/chases.
I have never DC'd as a Survivor, because I want the BP. Even if its a small amount, its something and I can just leave and start a new game after I get sac'd.

When a survivor is speed hacking, he can hold the game hostage forever and you are basically forced to DC or go afk until he gets bored.
Some surivovrs would prefer to be chased by a killer AI that farms BP with them

DC is allowed in very rare situations. Cheating and holding a game hostage are about it.
If you DC because you got hooked early or tunneled you are just a bad player and a poor sport. Maybe you should stick to single player at that point.

I got 2 games somewhere playing as survivor one was in a swf group (they was trying to help me trophy hunt all 4 out the hatch) where once he started lagging us we recorded the game and theres blatant proof if him being on top of a set of stairs and a friend is downed at the bottom when he didn't move and just teleported down the stairs (also footage of me frozen in mid air for 5 seconds as well) who then raged at us because we jumped out the hatch with 3 men left (had a key hence trophy hunting) and one where I actually dc against a hacking doc I have footage that's shows me running away from him I get hit no stain look behind nowere near not even chasing then I am downed again he walks over from the spot I first ran from him over 20-30 feet away that's a obvious hacker so yup not gonna feed him points)George_Soros said:Oh please, being tunneled is a terrible excuse for ragequitting.
