Was it really necessary?
You don't fix the core game mechanics but you fix a bug that didn't hurt anyone and let players customize the characters as they wanted after spending tons of money.

you bought them as sets so there is no point in complaing about bug being fixed you knew that will hapoen some day

Oh yeah sorry that i am complaining about devs fixing a bug not hurting anyone and making everyone happy while gamebreaking bugs have been in the game for years. My bad surely that bug will now fix the game completely

Actually, the Jill and Leon cosmetics were not sets to begin with, so no, nobody "knew" it would happen in the first hour of the chapter being released.

I'm really curious as to what would have happened if I just bough Leon's jacket for example before they became a set. Would it give me the whole set or just let me mix it

Yeah im gonna miss seeing people with broken sets, some of them looked really cool!

It was different for everyone, some got to use the jacket by itself, others automatically had the full set equipped without paying for the rest of it.

Except from the fact they genuinely were not linked cosmetics for the first hour of the release and the backlash was so huge BHVR had to break their own EULA to offer refunds to people that wanted them but do go off Katie

thats true but we cant tell if capcom didt conntac them to link em at the end of the day this concent will alwys belong to capcom they can do whatever they want.
Thy could simply seen how people break legendarys sets form RE games

People already had to pay for the entire set. Why would the owners of a certain license (who already got money from people purchasing the sets) care if people were able to break the sets?

maybe becouse thier character were show with different bodys and facess then they are in original game

Friday the 13th had a clothing glitch too and a bunch of players myself included took advantage of it to get some really crazy outfits. they fixed that too even if it wasn't hurting anyone. It's a bug that wasn't intended it's going to get fixed

Many of the bugs that have been fixed were found during the PTB, which means that work on these issues started a few weeks ago. That said, not all bugs are equal or even worked on by the same people! The team is still working hard on delivering a fix for these known issues ASAP.
