Why is the options menu arbitrarily blocked while searching for a match?
Sometimes I want to adjust my audio while matchmaking but then get rudely reminded that apparently I'm not allowed to look in the settings while matchmaking is happening. This baffles me, why is this a thing.
It's not even locked properly, since you can just switch to another survivor and boom, I can browse the options menu again. And I KNOW this doesn't affect matchmaking since I still find games while perusing my keybinds and whatnot.
Any devs feel free to let me know why this "feature" that isn't even implemented properly is in the game please.

I don't know. There's a lot of things in the game like this that don't make any sense, to which the devs answer "we can't do it because (blank)". I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you wonder.

I'm hoping this is just something that they have forgotten about, and if I bring it up they may do something about in the future. Even if I'm old and wrinkly in that future.

Probably some spaghetti code issue where if you load into a match while in the settings menu something probably breaks
