the problem with SWF

im not gonna complain like OMG SWF OP!!! just here to discuss whats wrong with swf

swf can be strong at times and im not gonna pretend like its not, the problem with swf is solo queue

its hell to play survivor and have consistent good teammates, but with swf its the same teammates, so buff solo queue and bring some of the lower tier killers up and the swf aspect of things might be fixed

I dont see an effective way to make swf weaker that wouldnt hurt the game.

It's obvious that soloQ is unbalanced and DEVs surely know it. If the official escape rate for SWF+Solo combined is 30%, then for soloQ only it's about 20%. How is that 50%/50% that DEVs promised us? They also promised us that they are gonna fix soloQ long time ago, but nothing really happened.

    It's about time.

And concerning weaker killers I agree too. But it's actually about all killers, a seal squad of 4-man SWF on comms can destroy any killer. SoloQ and Killers must be brought to the same level as SWF.

I dunno. I hate going against sweaty SWFs but at the same time if I played survivor often I would 100% play SWF almost all the time.

Look at this garbage. I’m rank 8 at the moment and 5/5 games I have been matched with brown ranks. I’ve dropped there from rank 1 because I play survivor so little.

You may as well just spam keys because you are not winning any other way. Loop the killer for 3+ minutes? Sorry, your entire team were in lockers during that chase. Git gud.

idk man, anyone who does bad against a swf is just bad, i'd say this includes me, but i'm just built different.

Swf changes how survivors play. It turns from a self centered style ( I win ) into a more team oriented (we win).

Although there are some cases that had their perception of the game warped a bit much. Ever had 3 dead sirvs brag they won because the 4th got the hatch?

I just want to point out that the game doesnt adapt to that change in mentality, the swf score judging is still the same as solo.

Swf actually has no ingame difference to solo. Theyre just likely to play more altruistic. Its rather obvious you'd more likely help a buddy than a rando.

Swf wouldnt actually be that complained about if they werent that likely to use voicechat. I'd say its a flat bonus even scribs can benefit from while also getting even better the more willing survivors are to play better themselves.

Put that bias in a bottle and clear your mind for a second.

Think really hard on your past matches and how many of them could have ended in a 3 man escape, but instead ended in a 2 or 4k for the killer because survivors wanted to save EVERYONE instead of just leaving.

Survivors get a pip even if they die while killers don't get a pip without actually killing. the pip system is too screwed up to allow kill rates to even be considered as a balance metric.

The reason escape rates are so low is because most solos are garbage, and most SWF are overly altruistic, causing the killer to get more kills.
