Where Are All the PC Survivors?
I play solo ~95% of the time in red ranks. I’ve noticed that most of the time my random team mates are console survivors.
I get I can turn off crossplay, but it’s not a complaint, more of an experience I’d like to share. Anyone know if there’s a reason why, or if they experience the same?

I get more console survivor buddies than pc survs, I don’t know why but it’s probably due to more players on console maybe?

Time of day mayhaps? I play in the AM/Afternoon and I mostly get PC survivors.

With the last patch somewhat fixing Nemmy a lil on PC I think more of those players went back to killing. Also there has never been a huge portion of consolers playing killer anyway, mostly for game performance reasons, so most play survivor.
Plus as someone mentioned above console is the larger playerbase now.

Console has a larger number of survivors than killers because of the performance issues: it's much easier to play survivor rather than killer on console.
When combined across consoles, the playerbase on console is larger than the playerbase on PC.
So those two factors may be why you see more console survivors.

Because PC has not perfonmance problems like console. So people are playing killer more. This is reason possibly. And yes, when i play survivor most times my teammates are also console players. Possibly because of perfonmance issues people are not playing killer so much on console.

Killers have worse performance optimization on console.
Try playing Blight, Nurse, Billy, Deathslinger, Trickster, Huntress, Plague etc on Console and you'll see why they're all Survivor players

I play primarily on pc, my problem is I'm low rank and get paired up with high ranks way too often.

So basically it’s cause performance issues on console. Well that might explain survivor queues anytime other than chapter releases.

This place is a killer main support group mainly. They chased most survivors out. Now they can meet daily to complain and whine about not getting 4K rounds every single game.

Then why are my survivor queues so damn long and my killer queues crazy fast? You apparently haven't chased enough of the survivors away. Get to it Mr. 4k, I need faster survivor queues: I have tome challenges to do.

there are around 50k pc survivors on at a time, its just crossplay is across 5 different platforms and thats not talking about the next gen consoles

Where are you getting these numbers from?

dbd-stats.net its shows steam users their stats and has the number of online pc players
