Book License Ideas: I Have No Mouth and I must Scream

A thought recently popped into my head, I realized how similar the ideas of both IHNMAIMS and DBD are, both involve a group of people being essentially tortured for eternity by a being who is essentially omnipotent, nigh omnipotent or at least could be considered a god at some level.

i think the only ‘problem’ here would be the fact that it’s a niche story, and that AM is more or less the only iconic part of it. Though I think they could make up for this by making it the first five survivor chapter. Nimdok, Ted, Ellen, Benny and Garrison. Or they could all just be skins of one another, regardless, I think AM as a killer could be really interesting not being the traditional moving around the map and chasing each survivor type of killer, he could even be a special type of killer that has a presence over the entire map, with this own ways to down, ‘hook’ and harm survivors. I always had the idea of ‘’map based killers’ killers with their own specialized maps to fit their specific mechanics, aesthetic, etc. you’d get the same map and perhaps have a different objective, this could allow more ‘godlike’ killers to work in the game or multiple killers. Is it too different? What do you guys think?

I think this could also be one of the few book licenses that could genuinely work in this game. Another being Lovecraft, but that’s for another time, I’d actually like it more if BHVR, rather than basing it off the game, gave their own interpretation of this chapter, I’d like to see how they see AM, Ted, Gorrister, Benny, etc.
