Depend for me killer cosmetics are not worth it because you cant see them unless you are in a lobby.
Survivor cosmetics depend what you like for me i never bought a cosmetic. But with the RE chapter i bought my first cosmetic with the Claire set.

If people want to buy cosmetics with cells or shards let them. I for one enjoy having several outfits for the many characters I play.

With shards? Sure why not
With auric cells? No why would you do that unless you really like to flex on poor peasants

Dbd is the only game I play so I don't mind spending money on it. It's disappointing that the dev team seems to be so terrible though.

I buy ac sometimes because I enjoy making outfits that I like. It is not to flex. I don't spend a lot tho.

I buy cosmetics I like to have cute outfits my fav is my bunny/kitty feng, but since the new chapter I’ve been maining Jill I have her p3, hopefully the release some outfits for her that are not sets but I don’t kno if they can due to it being a licensed chapter :(

I meant it more as a joke, I don't mean to offend the people that enjoy cosmetics But I really don't see the point in buying cosmetics that change nothing gameplay wise.

As long as I am enjoying a game I will spend money on it. Its good to support the devs and tell them with your wallet you are happy and want more.
That being said I'm done dbd until the dc penalties are back... mini strike :P

Eh, depends. They're really pricey, and I typically prefer to buy just one outfit for a character and stick with that, but sometimes your favorite is cash-only and you've gotta do what you've gotta do.
I like buying the battlepasses and then using the 1000 auric cells I get back from them to buy outfits. I'll only spend cells on cell-only outfits, and prioritize licensed characters since that's all the options they get.

I remember I told myself a while ago that I would save up shards to get spirits' white dress but the next hour I was like I can't, I need it now. So I bought it.
If you want something & you don't want to wait for it just get it. You'll pay with your time or money, I chose to give money.
But of course if you're close to unlock it with shards then just play the few games needed, I had like a few hundred shards so I was gonna wait fo a while & I also considered that I usually don't play more than 10 games a day as both killer & survivor so also consider your play time aswell.
If it's something that's only available with auric cells then ask yourself, do you really want it that much? For me it's usually a yes.

Like I sad some people enjoy it. It doesn't matter if it doesn't directly change the gameplay.
For me it makes me play certain games for longer. If there is a customization in a game and the gameplay is decent, I play them more.

It's as worth it as you make it. Personally I don't find it worth it, in the past I did it couple times to support the game but after it felt like more a waste of money than money well spent. I don't find prestiging characters worth the time/BP it takes after p3 50 a few myself, but there are plenty that think spending the time/BP is worth it.

Cosmetics are entirely luxury items. They are worth it if you like a look and want to sport it. They have no value in the game, and in fact are often counter productive depending on how much the stand out.

I bought most of my stuff for shards, and if i have to buy a skin with auric cells i usually just hope for a sale.

The only cosmetics i ever buy are the ones that are a legendary set like Trappers Krampus

Truthfully, I regret how much money I've spent on this game, including the cosmetics. Most of the time, it was because I got frustrated with the grind, and I reasoned to myself that it would be worth it to spend some money and have something cool to play with, but there are only a couple of cosmetics that I'm honesty glad I paid for.
If I had it to do all over again, I would wait until I'd picked my mains, and then maybe get something nice for them instead of just doing it randomly.
