2 Trapper Add-ons that solely increase setting speed.. typo??? pic included
Trap Setters and Trapper Gloves both increase setting speed. Why would I want that??
Official WIki states:
- Setting time: 2.5 seconds
- The animation is split into three phases, with only the second phase being affected by Add-ons:
- Crouching down: 0.5 seconds
- Setting: 1.5 seconds
- Standing up: 0.5 seconds

So basically why
would I want to increase the time it takes to set up a trap???

I think you're confusing speed with time.
Yes, the setting animation takes 1.5 seconds, but if you increase the speed it will take less time. Not more.

If you aren't and are just questioning why adjusting something that takes just a few seconds by default matters, there are a couple of reasons.
It just makes general setting up a little nicer (saving fractions of a second will add up) and enables you to set up Traps midchase. Obviously setting Traps midchase isn't ideal, but generally a set Trap is better than one in the hand.
These add-ons can also mean that the set Trap mindgame you do at certain pallets loops can actually be fully carried out (as opposed to cancelled halfway through) and still let you catch the Survivor. Kinda like a faster Brutal Strength.
They're not great add-ons but they are useful.
Which is more than I can say for the Spring add-ons.
