Sleepy Hollow TV show Chapter with explanation on why

Reasons why Dead By Daylight would benefit from the chapter

  • Devs could make an original Headless Horseman killer "which prob won't happen" but using the TV show as a DLC would most likely bring more money for the game to bring more future chapters/updates.
  • As Sekio mentioned the TV show had covered quite a bit of folktale like Pied Piper, Abyzou aka tooth fairy, Sandman, the Witches of Salem, The Lost Colony of Roanoke, The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse including the Headless Horseman.
  • Other unique horrors like the vampiric Verslinder and The Guardian of the Philosopher's Stone The Sphinx.
  • Lot characters in the show so Devs could easily make some legendary skins to turn original survivors/killers into Sleepy Hollow characters like Abigail Mills's skin if she can't be another survivor.
  • Have the main killer be The Headless Horseman of course and have the survivor be Ichabod Crane and Abigail if we can have 2 survivor DLC like Stranger things and Resident Evil.
  • The show was a big hit back in 2014 but sadly got canned in 2017 due to a drop in views even though 2nd session was highly liked by everyone even 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
  • The show's lore would fit perfectly in DBD's lore with all the supernatural happenings that reside in the show.
  • Would bring a lot of players that loved the show back in 2014 and any horror fans that loved Sleepy hollow book which will tempt them into looking into Dead by daylight and the TV Series.

Pied Piper [Legion skin due to him being a Mercenary and attacks with knives]

The Sandman [ Wraith skin because he is silent and can never fully know where is at all times.]

The Verslinder [Hag because fits with her design and claw based attack but both love blood]


Not gonna spam images of characters of the show but you get the idea of the show.

The theme and style of the show are perfect for the game and could lead to a lot of Sleepy Hollow content in the game which still kinda surprised that only a small amount of people mentioned this as a possible chapter.

This would make Dead by Daylight feel like a real horror game if done right when The Horseman arrives to serve the Entity.

  • In the show, he is relentless as he is deadly so make him feel like that in the game. Have him be connected to the Entity more than Ghostface ever was since he is The Horseman of Death.
  • Have him go into a state of fury in survivors. Make him punish survivors for stopping his mission of killing to show nothing can stop the inevitable death.
  • Make him have more power in the game than he did have in the show by fueling his rage into a fireball he can hurl at survivors.
  • Let the Entity bestow his steed so he can ensure that survivors will not escape death so easily when survivors are close to escaping.
  • Use Death's Axe [aka Totem of Death] as his main weapon to cut and burn survivors while absorbing the realm's power of past deaths to increase his effiencty in killing the survivors.

Let the supernatural of Sleepy Hollow creep into the Entity's realm cursing killers to transform into creatures and monsters that Ichabod had to face in the past but familiar faces come to aid the survivors and Ichabod to help avoid certain death.


Of course make The Horseman not have the ammo belt and shotgun.


Again this would make a fantastic chapter for horror fans, Tv show fans, Dead by daylight fans, and even fans who read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

    I like it, I have heard about the show but kinda forgot and never watched it. Maybe I should? Hope it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger?


    and wonder what the prestige head would look like 🤔

    It sorta does but not really since the final episode was released before getting canceled which I am not gonna spoil it. Season 1 and 2 are awesome.

    I also love how The Headless Horseman actually has a real back story compared to other media versions and how almost every well known historical figure is somehow connected or involved but not saying which ones.

    3 and 4 I mostly watched just to see what happens but still a good show overall.

    Cosmetics would prob be the same but sorta different like Head cosmetic now controls the Torso and Torso cosmetic controls the Legs.
