Heard from a friend that since he disabled crossplay he has been having less fps/lag issues since the update.
You might want to try it out.
Idk if this also applies to xbox1.

Definitely does not help. The newest patch has actually broke the game for me. Vault a window, lag out... get spun around... frozen in place and downed.
I really hope they extend the rift. Or change all my challenges to things like;
Miss 3 skill checks due to lag
In 1 game, freeze mid vault 7 times

Every time I disable crossplay I either get stuck with people that don’t do anything or get messaged by trolls. Between glitches and putting up with that, I choose the glitches.

Sorry to hear that, I was just trying to spread the word since supposedly helped my friend have less issues with this chapter.
That sounds like the normal PC day lol.
Sorry to hear you get those kind of teammates, this is why people use SWF and stuff, to not have to deal with players that don't do anything.

I played 1vs1 with my friend. Still the same issues, every action is freezing the game.
He is on ps5 and says he doesn't notice anything.
I have a bad feeling about our future on dbd tbh. I think we are done for xD. Maybe it is time to say goodbye until we switch to ps5 or better yet pc (no cross progression tho).
Honestly I don't have much hope cuz the switch was always terrible and they never improved it from what I have seen from others.

I’m more against the trolls than the incompetent players. But it just seems like the people that choose crossplay have more interest in playing the game. Not all of them, mind you, just a higher ratio.

Some people on ps5 report problems too but I kinda doubt they have it that bad. I am watching some dbd streamers atm who play on ps5 and I don't see any problems.
It is what it is, I will just play other games until I upgrade I guess. Unless miracle happens.
