It Almost Feels Like Someone At BHVR Is Actively Sabotaging DBD
I mean, with how bad most updates this year have been. Especially the RE chapter, the 2 recent updates and the Event addition it really feels like it.
I highly doubt this is true but it's fun to imagine as a way to deal with this nonsense.

Agreed maybe their trying to kill the game

Corporate executives! All they care about is money and when something popular is here the executives push the devs to release these updates unfinished to make money they have a very strict schedule. But we should get more fixes on at least the mid chapter

Bringing this back. Again.

Stealing this for discord, lmao.

This level of organizational dysfunction is hard to achieve. The studio is going to start losing the talent they have if the higher ups keep going down this road and trotting out community managers to put out their fires. They clearly can't keep up with this release schedule. It's blatantly obvious. Nearly everything they've done for the last 2 years has been half finished and not QA'd at all.

Every change is a disappointment, and this event is no exception. Please, BVHR, let me go back to 2018. PLEASE!

Imo, BHVR needs to stop making gameplay content and just focus on making money through sales of the actual game and microtransactions
Their 3 month update plan is clearly a ######### joke and they're straining themselves too hard with it. I wouldn't mind a Killer and Survivor every 9 months if it meant more balance changes and more bug fixes the moment they appear so they aren't worried about making a new Killer with a power every 3 months.

What? No, these past few updates have been so Iconic. If anything it's something to celebrate and be thankful for.
Anyway, if doomsday ever does arrive for dbd then I have a proposition of changing the game into a shopping dating sim. It'll be called Alive by Moonlight.

You gave Bubba the wrong gift! *Sad chainsaw noises*

i think the best part of this image is that you just cross out the last update then add the most recent one

Finally my Dwight X David Fanfics can come true

Honestly even people like me who like the current content would go back purely for a more stable game. Sign me up

I put the same effort into my memes as bhvr have the most recent updates.
(And yes I have more pre-made as well)
Edit: okay no this is unfair, the art team and lore team have been absolutely killing it for years. I'm aiming this directly at the higher ups.

I like a tin-foil hat conspiracy laugh as much as the next guy, but when I logged on just now and read what was being investigated, that's the first nutty thing I thought, bexause it just seemed as if everything was starting to unravel at unrealistically varied levels!
I don't know enough about coding to say whether it's worth actually drawing things back to how they were a year or 2 back and start things over, but currently it seems like there's too much going on. Reminds me a bit of the Fallout 76 chaos! I'm backing them to get through this, but thiw does all feel rather strange.

I think it's just the result of poor management and a monopoly. Someone's pushing bad decisions and allowing a very thematic-based vision overtake what is a very gameplay-based experience.
Edit: I also don't even think it's someone working at the company, this feels like a lazy upler-management letting artists and visionaries run a development team with little checks and balances.

Its insane. Its hard to even fathom and explain how much of an utter failure the updates this month have been.

As some here have already said, it's most likely the management at bhvr that is the problem. If something is run by bad management then it doesn't matter how good or bad everyone else is, the whole operation just falls flat

I'm sure the devs would love to not strain themselves trying to come up with new ideas every 3 months (3 months isn't a very long time dev wise, btw. That's like a blip.)
So yes, I do agree that the management needs to stop being so #########.

Yeah, I agree. The actual people working at bhvr I do not blame at all, I'm sure they're doing the best they have with what they're given. But the management ######### them over so much- I'd rather pay double for chapters and get new (and better) content every 6 months instead of the current fiasco

Plot twist: It's TRUE

That is what I am talking about! My dear friend, we should embark on a journey.
Let us go back to a better time! I already have a few versions in mind.

It's fine to not like something. It's fine to be frustrated. It is annoying and unproductive to circlejerk about not liking something and being frustrated. Be specific about what you don't like, then offer suggestions about how you'd like that to change. There are way too many posts like this on the forum and I'm sick of it at this point.
