Extend the 5th anniversary event as compensation
the event is already bugged, crowns don’t work, people are loosing points and cakes are ridiculously rare.
The bugged crowns is literally cutting into out limited event time to get them, extend the event as compensation please

Yeah, it's been a while since I touched the forums. It was kinda spiraling downwards, and my mental health didn't need all the stress this place adds. I also took a long break from DBD, only recently did I get back and *oh boy was I back at the wrong time.*

Give survivors crowns for interacting with them. Why do killers get to have them for free and we have to win? And they're literally faster.

Yeah we've had nothing but flops since Blight and Chains of Hate was the last chapter to work semi-properly on consoles and low-end PCs (4.0.0, Silent Hill, lagged the hell out of them)

I wish the devs didn't get as much ######### as they do to be fair. A lot of the criticism should go to management looking at their employees and consumers and giving them all the finger.

because at least some people will speed run getting the crowns by...
- Load In.
- Find Crown.
- Find Killer.
- Get downed and hooked.
- Suicide on hook, ruining the entire match for everyone.
- Select the next original Survivor.
- Repeat.
With a large player base and 16ish original survivors, that'll result in a lot of ruined matches. Killers can't get themselves out of a match early so they just need to find it.

There is no getting out of a match early anymore. Every killer leaves you slugged if it's clear you want out.
There is no way it's going to take the killer longer to choose to find the crown and that's it, over a survivor having to find the crown and win when literally no one is doing anything because all they want is a cosmetic they won't even earn.

I think they deserve a decent bit of stick tbh. They're the ones creating it and hyping it up for us.
Overwatch is owned by Activation yet they do so much better than this game.

This event, one of the two they were going to prioritise is too much for me to ignore. Basically reskins of last year + last years stuff. Even the little shrine change, which isn't difficult to do, just all feels lazy.

Yes, it has to be extended. It is not the absolute best compensation, but it is the least they can do.

Yeah but there's a difference between "Hey this is pretty disappointing, especially considering you said you'd step your game up guys" and "You're all dogshit at your jobs, dogshit at your game, I hope every one of you gets fired".

Sure, but that's the sort of behavior that's not too difficult to detect, and could easily get reported. A Survivor doing that is nearly indistinguishable from them just being bad.

I'm in the middle of what you said. The bottom isn't something I'd say but definitely wouldn't be as easy to them as the top message.
There has been times where I've been like the top part but there's only so many times you can be that nice to them.

The anniversary event has already been extended by one day, before these errors were found. And theyve seem to already have resolved it basically in the morning time.
If they extend, they’re being overly nice at this point.
