Good to see nothing's changed.

Long time forum member here.

Took a long break from the game and the forums because I got frustrated by BHVR and DBD as well as this place in particular.

Nice to see that nothing much has changed. I'd argue some of it got worse. I'm just making this thread to put my thoughts on what seems to be happening in this community all in one place. Mods, feel free to move it if it's inappropriate to be placed in General Discussions.

Just to give context. I took a pretty long break between Blight and the tail end of Trickster. So I missed like Binding of Kin, and from what I can tell with that chapter, from content creators and my friends, I didn't really miss much. I did play a couple games here and there, but not as frequently as I used to. I had to purchase the previous Rift's Tier 70 mainly because I just wanted the cosmetic that came with it, lmao.

Glad to see they reworked the grind after that though. Didn't feel half as stressed with the current rift.

Now onto the content:

The Twins feels alright. I don't mind their playstyle. I like how they encourage you to slug. Got a ton of salty endgame chats with them, lmao.

The Trickster feels fun, but his power is complete dogshit. I did however win a game with him in The Game and I brought myself there. So that's neat.

The Nemesis feels powerful, but that's about it. His power is probably the most mediocre of the three new killers. But I admire their attempts at making a Killer with AI companions (even though their AI is complete garbage on most maps.)

So in other words, DBD is just being DBD. And nothing's changed since I last stopped playing almost a year ago.

Same with the forums. Glad to see old faces still stick around, and still being their recognizable selves.

But good ######### #########, the bugs. I feel like it wasn't this bad before. I felt like I didn't need to constantly restart my game to just be able to spend points on the bloodweb, or at least be able to play it functionally without lag spikes in maps like Midwich.

If there is one advice I hope BHVR listens to in the community, is that for the love of #########, stop having a 3 month content release window.

You guys CLEARLY and OBVIOUSLY needs more time than that. We can wait for a 9 month release window. Hell, I'd pay double if it means it's polished, well balanced, fun, and actually contributes to fixing the ######### game.

BHVR. I appreciate the hard work you've been putting into the game. But you need to give yourself more time.

Or else you'll snap yourself in half, and this game is going to go down in history as a failure because you couldn't pace yourself and give yourself breaks when needed.
