Farm or play normally?

Simple question for the survivors.

Would you guys prefer if I farmed for the event so we can get as many bp as possible, collect our crowns, and just dick around in general? Or would you prefer if I just played as if it was just any other day of Dbd?

Asking cause farming would be a lot easier for me as a console killer than trying to actually play the game with all the terrible frame drops, lag, and freeze frames, etc, but I know a lot of you find farming to be boring which it can be, but there is an exclusive limited time cosmetic and it's possible to earn up to 525% extra bp sooo yeah.

To farm or not to farm? That is the question.

Well, playing survivor on console has issues, too. When I'm on Switch especially the only way I can escape is if the killer helps me open the door. So me, personally, I need farming killers or I'll never be able to get the crowns.

But you should do what you wanna do. I'm usually a very laid back farm-y killer during events, previously by choice but with how broken everything is now I don't think I could play a serious match even if I wanted to.

Honestly farming is boring but maybe don’t be as sweaty as most killers. Everyone wants to play and earn points. I’m seeing non stop tunneling and camping and that’s in red ranks.

I'm going to just be dicking around until ######### gets fixed

If I'm playing KIller and at least 2 Survivors indicate their desire to farm, I will farm with them, otherwise I will just play normal. Same when I play Survivor. That of course it's because I need points.

If I had already everything maxed out, I would probably not farm and just play with meme builds or something like that.

    Bit of both.

I've just been playing as normal except I don't kill anyone and just knock people over when they're already on death hook. If players indicate they want to meme or farm, I'll play along. Best of both worlds - everyone gets tons of bloodpoints and escapes with crowns, but nobody's unhappy that they didn't queue into a 'real' match.

As survivor, outright farming is nice every once in a while but boring when it's every game. That said, I've played maybe a dozen survivor matches today and I could have used some farmers. Had a couple of games that were very frustrating and I never got a chance to do anything, which really sucks when there's a 400% bloodpoint bonus.

I don't even know what farming is on the killer end.

Play how you want and react to how the survivors are playing. That's what I do. During the event I go into rounds wanting to farm and help them get crowns if they want. However, if I see they just want to sweat out gens, hide behind pallets and randomly stun me which leads to tbagging, etc, I'll start playing normally.

Farming is when both teams are cooperating with each other for points. The survivors crowd around a hook and let the killer hook everyone twice, the killer walks under pallets so survivors can stun them, the survivors tap gens while the killer repeatedly kicks them.

It is better to play normally, to be honest.

    This.

If I have my crowns as survivor I'll give farming/nice killer the sacrifice at end of match.

I did survivor crowns last year so this year I'm doing killer side. If I have gotten the crown on the killer I'm playing, then I let all crown carrying survivors escape through the exit doors and kill the rest.

If I can't find the crown then they stole the crown I was looking for and they must die.

I just play normally until everyone has been on the hook twice then I just screw around once I have all of my categories done then allow everyone to leave with a crown. I even help them find one.

As killer I am kind of farming ^^ I will hook everyone twice if they let me but no one is getting sacrificed.

    You get your crowns fam!

    Stay mad Entity B3

(When I play survivor I would appreciate some farming killers as well ♡♡♡)

I like to play normally and get the last 2 survivors in a position where ive obviously won. Then let them go. Im getting my 2k though.

If i lose then they got their escape. Seems fair 🤷‍♂️

I'm trying to figure this out myself. To my understanding if nobody touches a crown pedestal for a while it despawns and respawns somewhere else. A survivor or killer interacting with it also despawns it and respawns it somewhere else. I don't think there's a cap on it spawns but I haven't figured it out for sure yet.

is that why it keeps disappearing in front of me face

That happened to me on Hag. Twice. My goals tonight aren't even to kill anyone it's to find these darn pedestals and if a survivor gets in my way then I need to eliminate the competition for said pedestals.

On one hand I'm glad they move if someone can't find them, but to have them vanish in front of you kinda sours the milk.

I'd go with either although preferring farming because i have so many survivors at level 1 that i want their teachables for but i need to level up my killers and im dying inside.

I usually don't farm. But sometimes when there are a lot of cakes on the table I just hook everyone twice and let them have their 5K +X escape points.
