Let me indroduce you to "Pop + Erruption"
So I have been testing this combination since this Perk came out on various Killers. Erruption triggers with any down ability and this therefore is way more flexible than Surge with its only basic attack restriction. Erruption has no limited range also which can provide alot of pressure. Also Erruption's second effect, when a survivor was working on that exploding gen at that moment they get the Incapacited status effect, which means they cant repair a gen for 16 sec. This provides you a very nice time buffer to come to the gen after the hook and pop it with extra -25% on that gen. This combination is especially good on mobile Killers such as Blight, Wraith, Spirit, Demo, Oni, Freddy or even Nurse but is still very good on regular not mobile Killers such as Doctor, Huntress etc.
Some tips how to effectivly use this combination:
At the start of the game whenenver you find gens that has been worked on, doesnt matter how much progress, just kick them to already prepare your first erruption's. You should always keep 1-3 gens in yellow with that perk, trust me the timewaste for the gen kick is worth. Once you downed in around 30-60 sec your first survivor on average you should get atleast 1-2 gens that has been worked on with erruption and hit survivor with it that cant finish that gen since the gens are most likely around 60-80%. You go back and pop that gen then. You try to keep kicking gens through out the game to always keep some extra erruptions rdy after you hook or down ppl. Keep in mind that you want to "prepare" some erruptions and then pop a gen that has a good amount of progress, you want to keep the synergie between those perks. You have to learn for yourself whenenver you want to kick a gen normal even if its already at a high progress to bait survivor to it and then proc erruption ot it and then pop it after that hook. There are many different plays you can do with these 2 perks, they both offer you a very interesting back and forth gameplay on some gens which is very rewarding for you aswell since you can keep gens from 80% down to lower 20% over the entire match. This also is just very fun to keep the gens controlled for yourself, it offers alot of strategic desicions and is overall just a very good and smooth combination that works out very well.
I assure you try out this combination and you will see how much fun and also efficient that combination is. I cluchted various games only because of these perks and I am gonna continiue using them on some Killers.

Now this is painful. But i like it lol.

Killers barely have time to kick gens with pop sometimes, let alone multiple gens in a row to make the perk effective. This might be good at low ranks.

I assume you didnt read my post so lemme try to clear it up quick for you. Erruption gives you the time you NEED to pop gens, it is there that survivors cant finish gens infront of you or when you are about to reach a gen you want to pop.

Last night I tried Eruption, Surge, Oppression, and Overcharge.
I had a (wait for it)......blast!

You are actually right, I didn’t read the wall of text because I can read the perk description and know it’s trash. I can write a wall of text about monsterous shrine and that doesn’t make it good.

Imagine comparing that with monstrous shrine lol okey thicc head andy

If you are taking the time to find gens to kick, and then you spend 60 seconds to down someone (You say 30, but any half decent Survivor isn't going down in 30 seconds) at least one Gen you kicked, if Survivors are actually working it, is most likely going to be completed.
There's also Gens that are being worked that you never kicked. The longer you take to make sure all gens that are being worked are kicked the less time you actually have to get value out of Eruption.
I just don't see the time spent kicking Gens really being worth it a lot of the time. Some games you can spend the time doing it, but most you can't because it does nothing to stop the Gen from getting complete.
I'm not saying its bad, I just don't think it's very good.

Ofc it is hard to explain exactly how everything will turn out, and I am not here to do that. I was just sharing my thoughts since i used this combination the past weeks and it works out very well on me. This is a just a encouragement to try it out, its not like you are gonna lose games because of it, just try it out and you will see what I mean.
Edit: Also I am not saying you should give up chases only to kick gens, you have often moments when you can kick a gen atleast one and this can be already enough for this perk to provide enough for you.

Is it better than Pop+Ruin? Of course not.
Does incapacitating two/three survivors as I down one force my brain to produce happy juice? Hell yeah.

Yes ive been using this and its so fun!!! :)

Tbh I really dont like Pop+Ruin and these perks cancel each other out which is just not really that smart.
