She is still broken. Nerfing Stridor did not fixed all of her problems. But you are free to play ofcourse, noone will judge you.

As Northener said, Spirit is still extremely unfair for the Survivors and is very unfun to verse. You're totally entitled to play her but don't be surprised if people give you flak for it.

Spirit can't be bullied, and Ring Around The Pallet is in effective against her. We Spirit mains are going to be hated until she can be bullied

You can play her. You’re just not allowed to phase all game and you have to set a 4-minute timer for each survivor, so you don’t “tunnel”

If I'm not mistaken, she actually can't see blood whilst phasing unless she has that iridescent add-on.

The only time I played Spirit, I was perkless and addonless. I was still able to see scratch marks...

Iron Will is the only perk that counter Spirit. Which is why Spirit use Stridor to counter Iron Will in the first place.
Stridor was never a good perk. Its the Spirit that should be changed.
I feel like this is a simple fix to nerf Spirit, which isnt.

the survivors are already bringing in more expensive items, so you should not feel bad. Consider it evening the playing field.

Exactly. Any killer that can't be toyed with, is hated ie NURSE/SPIRIT. The game is in the killer hand based on how skilled they are. They don't need to wait for survivors to make mistakes to be good.

Spirit hasn't been meta in a while. I haven't had problems playing against her for like the past two years. They nerfed her around 2 years back and she hasn't really been a problem since, unlike those days when every other game was a Spirit and she was just too powerful.
The only issue I have with spirit is that with the right add-ons her charge time for her power is basically non-existent. That's the only OP thing about Spirit right now. Beyond that Spirit matchups are a matter of skill.
A better Spirit player will beat you, if you are better you will beat her in chase, with or without Iron Will.
The Iron Will buff isn't as big a deal as most people are making it out to be. Good Spirits don;'t play with Stridor and don't need it.

Real Spirit Mains can play her without Stridor. Stridor was a crutch for some. The 1% are still going to kick ass with her.

Or until she actually requires skill to use, I guess it all comes down to how you want to see it. Doesn't take much to use something that can't be countered. It's like brining an LMG to a fist fight and claiming you are good because you've won that way.

Do not worry.
I got called "Tryhard" and swears for playing Myers because I used "Monitor and Abuse" . I had no good addons, I hooked everybody twice befor going for the kill and my other perks where Bamboozle, Infectios Fright and Safe the Best. No Ruin, no NOED, no Pop or anything.
Proof that you can play anything and people can get mad at you just for playing well.
Spirit is not the problem for most people. Most Sprits are not that good and do not have a headset that allows them to hear you rustling the gras. People just like to bandwagon on the hate without actualy experiencing a tryhard Spirit.

No one should be having a go at you for playing a certain killer, you didn't design her and you aren't in charge of balancing her.
Personally I currently don't mind spirit if I have iron will and she doesn't have stridor, as it takes a few more braincells to get downs.

It's not even that. Stridor takes a lot of practice to run with It makes all injured survivors sound like they're 10 meters closer than they are. You can come out of phase thinking you're right on top of them, but they're still 10 meters away and you miss entirely. Then you swap between killers and it screws you over as sounds go back to normal, and vice versa.
Stridor was really used as a more effective Whispers, to locate injured survivors a little better, but it didn't help you with her phasing power whatsoever.
I hated running Stridor as Spirit so I'm not fussed, but the strength of a Stridor Spirit was greatly overblown.

They only see the game as a 1v1 because for some people the chase is the fun part and as a survivor its the most effective way to show off YOUR skill.
Spirit doesn't allow a survivor to show off how good they are, it allows them to show how lucky they are

And how is one thing tied to the other? A killer overperforms more than anything else, and has no real counter. How do we solve that? Let's nerf survivors. I fail to see your reasoning process there, if there is any. Or is it just because duh, they nerf my main, so I demand they get nerfed as well? Because that would be laughable. That's not balancement. And before you try to pull a funny move, I never said that SWF isn't a problem. But Spirit and other killers' issues and SWF are two very different problems, and should be treated as such.

It depends on what you consider playing well. I am sure the Claudette who unhooked me in front of the killer, without BT, spending the rest of the time crouchwalking through the entire map (or hiding in lockers) yesterday thought she was playing well. As probably did the Wraith who tunneled me, instead of chasing her. You can consider that playing well, but it really isn't, it's just being a jacka*s.
