Just want to bring some logic to the topic. I have no issue giving hatch…but I have conditions.

Obviously, if there’s some DC’s, some mercy will be shown. If you play well or at least make an effort when it’s down to 2 survivors…fair deal, mercy hatch is ok.

However, if you’re a person hiding all game waiting for your team to die, not a chance in hell. I don’t slug for the 4k, so you already have a reasonable chance of finding it.

There’s my opinion…I’m sure others will agree, others will disagree. Feel free to stop crying in post-game chat that you were entitled to the free escape.

I don’t see any survivors giving the killer free kills when they’re winning…lol, same difference.

    I do, as everyone should. Just the overwhelming # of people crying about it in post-game chat as of late, made me feel like I needed to explain the mindset.

    I have so much salty messages, "Camper, tunneller, kyf, s..., f... y..." etc. I do not care any of them. I won and they are salty.

    I had it 2 times as killer that survivors gave me a kill and i appreciated it.

    Me and my gf also gave at least 2 times a kill to a killer but they didn't even showed any reaction that they liked that so we stopped doing that. Survivors also get less points overall and if he doesn't appreciate it im not going to do that again.

    Im always happy if the killer doesn't slug for the 4k. I don't care about hatch as long as the game doesn't take 5+ mins because the killer keeps looking for that claudette in the corner. I also don't slug for the 4k unless the survivor finishes a gen or misses a skillcheck the moment i down the other survivor.

    But if the killer decides to give hatch i do appreciate it.

    I give plenty of hatches when I play killer, but it's not a guarantee. If I can tell that someone is waiting it out and refusing to make an attempt to save the next-to-last survivor on their hook (and I'll be far away to give ample opportunity), I won't show mercy then. If you've engaged in any BM'ing at me during the match, no form of repentance will get me to be merciful at that point either.

    When I play survivor, I have no expectations I'll be given the hatch if I'm the last person left. When it does happen, I'm grateful. Anyone who "expects" it simply because they're the last one alive is being unreasonable. If they're salty afterwards, their salt should be promptly ignored. That type of player is likely the one who'll be waiting in the exits to teabag a killer they've destroyed in another game and likely deserves no sympathy anyway.

    Those people that are crying in the post game chat are not gonna see this. Which is why these posts have always confused the hell out of me. What are you trying to prove with this post, and who are you trying to prove it to lmao.

    I sometimes give the hatch and sometimes don't. Generally I have four "rules" for it

    1. Don't BM me. You T-Bag or clickity click at me, you forfeit your right to have Nice Killer Tippy
    2. You do something that I think "deserves" it. Usually this is someone who is really good at looping and whatnot, especially if their running is what got the other gens done when I finally catch them if I was being stubborn and just kept chasing them when I should have dropped it by that point
    3. What I call "The Lottery". Basically if I take you down and you didn't do anything special, if I hear the hatch on the way to the hook, I will drop you off at it. Luck of the draw.
    4. The most important of all; do I feel like it :D Basically am I in a good mood or a sour mood cause if I'm in a sour mood, you're probably not getting the hatch no matter what

    If i had a really game and i hooked 3 I ll let the 4th get hatch or exit. As Oni, its quite funny as you can stand over the hatch and hold the blood fury animation which looks like a hand embracing them 'come to me'
