Having issues downloading the PS5 version of the game from the PS4 Nightmare Edition disc

I have read that people have been unable to access the additional content that the Nightmare Edition came with when they download the PS5 version.


I have also read that you can’t access additional DLC on the PS4 version while on a PS5.

Honestly, I don’t really care too much about the additional content on the Nightmare Edition and would rather have the PS5 version with the extra DLC I purchased but am unable to figure out how to retrieve the PS5 version of the game with the disc I have.


does anyone have any useful tips on downloading the PS5 version of the game with this disc so I don’t have to buy a whole new version of the game?

    maybe there’s an option to choose which version you want to play?

    mark the game, press options and then „version of the game“. If there’s no other version than the PS4 version, check the PS store on PS5 to see if you can upgrade.
