Ghost flashlights

Someone mentioned these in a thread about the Blight, but I can't find it so am just going to have create another ######### topic here. Sorry about that.

Do the ghostly flashlights only appear in-game inside chests, or do they appear as items in the bloodweb?

Probably both, but I'm not sure.

Definitely want some. Just not sure if I should be tiering up plunderer's etc., or continuing to save bloodpoints.

@Eight I am not sure if leveling Plunderer's would even be a good call as I cannot remember what rarity they are. If they're still just common or uncommon, a lower Plunderer's is far better.

@Peasant Aaaah... I see what you mean. This could make things interesting - may have to break out my lower level chars for the event. :)

Edit: L11 David has plunderer's 1. God help me if I have to play that. :)

@Eight In the past Halloween event they were in both Bloodweb and chests. It might be good to do both just in case.

Just be mindful of the future. If you put flashlights on a non P3 character, you run the risk of losing your specials after you Prestige.

It's not possible to obtain 'normal' brown medkits and 'normal' yellow flashlights till the event ends. When you search the chests and level up the bloodwebs, you will find All Hallow's Lunch Box (special glowing medkit) and Will O' Wisps (special ghost flashlights) booh!

    * At a random chance, of course.

Yeah, can't really win long term on this. But still...

    That's why I have a P3 Jake and a P2 48 Quentin alongside my P3 Doctor and P2 30-something Huntress. It's all for the long game.

I just prestiged Quentin when something caught my eye. Granted it's not a ghost flashlight, but it's Halloween related all the same.

I hope that provides a more definitive answer in regards to the Bloodweb.

the do appear in bloodweb , but I have yet to see one in the chests , I have found several green or purple flashlights and a lot of standard med kits .

Yeah, I've gotten a few flashlights in the blood web. Souvenirs! Huzzah!
I need to luck out and get some Halloween toolboxes, though.

Ghost Flashlights appear in the Bloodweb for 3000 BP. I only have one though and I have yet to see a Halloween Medkit.

They appear in the bloodweb. I just p3'd my Kate and I have like 10 of them now, and the medkits.

I had to spend a million bp just to get one of each on claudette.

Got a couple so far now. Yay! Took ages to appear in the webs for my L50 chars, but my L15 David got them straight away. Typical.

Saving them for the summer :)

I've already spent over 2 mil on Kate and still only have 3 spooky medkits. Are these items meant to be this rare? I was expecting to get items i could actually use, not sit in my inventory because of the rarity.

Yeah, they were so common to get in bloodwebs and chests last year and was expecting something similar.

This is my experience also. Have pulled a few yellow medkits/flashlights out of chests but no spooky ones yet. Only got 1 spooky lunchbox in the bloodweb so far so I'll have to spend a bit more on survivors once I'm finished with the killer side of the event.

No you can still get the normal Med Kits and Flashlights in Chests.

I found a few in the bloodweb, not sure if they are in chests as well.

They are now "Artifact" rarity which is above the highest rarity. I think they will come out fairly regularly around the holidays now. However, with the increased rarity....they are a truly rare treat that won't be flooding the game ever.

I was hoping for new items soon...or making firecrackers a permanent addition to the game at some point. (Survivors need blinding too...lol)

They appear in both chests and bloodwebs for the full length of the event.

I started working on a new survivor who was at level 5 and hes almost 40 now and has 6 of each med kit and flashlight as well as 28 offerings . yes I am 30/30 survivor but I still use them every match for the bonus and to help others . it seems they are more common in the lower smaller bloodwebs , that of its just because you go through the webs soo much faster at low levels then the 50 web over and over .

From my experience they don't appear in chests.

Most likely because they forgot to add the event rarity to the pool of chest items.

This is false. I opened a chest with a brown medkit this morning.

Did they fix the bonus bp not getting awarded if you're at 30/30? I've been halting my collection because someone said it was happening.

as far as I have been able to tell anyone saying you don't get bonus bp is misinformed and spreading misinformation . I play with them on my 30/30 and average 12-20k bonus , just depends on how many get used . where the issue stems from is the people playing the 4man swf groups and they are all 30/30 and doing try hard matches so no hook or flowers are getting used thus no bonus to be had .
