    Perk-wise, RE.

    Map-wise, Stranger Things.

    Killer-wise, Stranger Things.

    Character-wise, Stranger Things.

I think Demogorgon is one of the most well-designed killers in the game. They're quite similar to Billy, Oni, and Blight, having mobility and decent chase in their kits. While I do find Nemesis fun, he isn't as unique as Demogorgon in terms of power.

RE introduced a nice variety of perks that are very fun to use and also very interactive. They're also pretty decent.

Because the game still worked on last gen when it came out.

I have never seen Stranger Things, but been playing RE since first game came out. Still Stranger things have a more likeable killer, better map and is overall a better chapter.

    Hype: Resident Evil

    Wow: Resident Evil

    Character Choice: Stranger Things

    Gameplay: Stranger Things

Honestly, I'm going with Stranger Things; since gameplay is more important to me than hype.

I maybe could've voted Resident Evil because of Nemesis' AI Zombies and the Brilliantly designed perk Flashbang (it's all a good perk should be. Not OP, rewards doing objectives, and fun), but I just hate Sets man. Aside from Legendary skins, Sets need to get the hell outta here, so the fact Leon and Jill seemingly will only use sets made me not vote them.

Plus, Stranger Things in my opinion was the most hype because of the constant teasing from BHVR and Netflix, and it's the first chapter to bring 2 survivors (yes, Resident Evil bringing Jill and Leon was hype and good choices, but at least I kind of expected it. With Stranger Things I was wrapping my head for days trying to figure out which singular character they would chose, and they brought TWO! nancy and STEVE).

I could write an essay on console optimization.

I could deeply compare the two chapters and what they added to the game.

Or, I could say Steve Harrington and move along.

RE only because I can relate to this chapter more compared to ST. I haven't watched the show yet even though I heard mixed reviews about it. I'm a pretty big fan of RE too so I guess I'm biased.

However in terms of optimization and launch day health, ST definitely takes the win.
