Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. You see the Aura of the last 1/2/3 Survivor(s):

  • You have rescued from a Hook
  • , or who have rescued you from a Hook.
  • You have completed a Healing action on, or who have completed a Healing action on you.
  • They also see your Aura.

All effects of Aftercare are reset upon being hooked by the Killer.

Very underrated perk that can give you a good amount of value. Keep in mind that the survivors that are affected by the perk can see you as well, which can be very useful. Unfortunately, your teammates can abuse that by bringing the killer to you. I still think it's a good perk nonetheless.

Restrictive activation condition with a very harsh reset condition. Not consistent enough to be elevated average.

Better than Bond when the other survivors can see you. It can give good information at any time.

The only downside i see is the hook reset.

i would change that instead of resetting it completely, remove only one aura of random survivor until we help each other again.

Good solo perk, could use buffs to make it better however.

Along with Empathy my favorite aura perk.

Has been invaluable particularly when there were just me and another survivor left and one gen left to do - it allowed us to coordinate to get both out where at least one would probably have been dead otherwise. The one getting chased can see which exit gate is being opened and when it's ready, and the one opening the gate sees from where the other is coming and can run towards him and take a hit if necessary.

And awhile ago, I played against a Bubba with Devour Hope protected by Thrill of the Hunt. I had a totem cleanse challenge, so I wanted those to go really badly, but he came instantly back every time I touched the totem ... so after I got hooked, I motioned the Meg who unhooked me to follow me. Showed her the first totem, motioned her to follow me again, showed her the second totem as well ... then I ran back to the first. With the help of the mutual aura vision we could start cleansing both hexes at the exact same time so the killer had to give up on one of his hex totems.

Very underrated perk. I literally just started using it after playing Jeff to get his crown and aftercare really has saved me as a solo player. Teammates I interact with can see me to team up on gens, I can see if they get pushed off theirs and get right on it. I can see them in chase if I need or want to take aggro, especially end game. I've located the exit gate while in chase because one of my teammates were on the door. I can see teammates for a heal and they can see me. It does not have the limitations in distance like Bond and does not require injury like Empathy. Major plus side is that it has an aura reveal that works both ways instead of just one.

You do lose it when you get hooked, but the person that comes to unhook you starts it usefulness again so its virtually in play all game. It's going to remain in many of my builds.
