Where is all my Wraith X Nea fanfiction at?
Come on guys or girls really in this case, if you can ship Jake Park with Micheal Meyers you can ship Nea with the Wraith. I'm disappointed in you all! I like M/M as much as the next girl but I swear all the het crack shipping is just pictures. Whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words was lying. There's like 3 Wraith X Nea fics on the DBD section of AO3. One of them is platonic Vore. Do you see what I have to deal with here? The relationship is tagged so little it does not even come up in the menu unless prompted. This is worse that the time the Internet got me into Docfeng at least that tag has some results. And don't look at me like I'm the weirdo who thought this pairing up either! It's been spamming me in Google images since forever!
That's the end of my rant, but in all seriousness if some learned and depraved fangirls could leave some actual recs that are not just platonic lil one shots that would be great.

That's what I'm saying though, jayers exists in large quantities but Nea X Wraith is white noise in the fanfiction aether. If you can ship the guy who killed his sister in cold blood as a child with one of his repeated victims I don't know why you can't ship the guy who killed people in anger with one of his repeated victims. Espeacially when there's more evidence for Philip having a personality than there is Myers. More opportunities to interact too given the Nea fanon about flashlights. What's Myers gonna do eat a zombie crow Jake was befriending like that dog he ate in the first film?
SMH, I'm not saying people can't ship weird things I just want some consistency!

Because I have no experience with romance and so anything I did write would probably just come off as two friends that are under the persistent recurring delusion that they are a couple. Also I don't have friends so that would also come off as two massive introverts with social anxiety under the delusion that they are two friends under the delusion that they are a couple. Also anything I wrote would probably devolve into existentialism halfway through and be really hard for anyone who does not read stream of consciousness to follow. I'd also inexplicably start from the Entities perspective and do a very repetitive essay on why the Entity has no clue what it's doing. Then I'd proceed to write Huntress as best girl despite her not even being the focus of the fic. Yui would just be Johnny Bravo in a Yui costume. The Clown/The Entity would be a pairing. Chris would try to get Claire and Leon to continue the Redfield bloodline. Philip and Evan would have a bromance that borders on a secondary OTP. Dwight would be competent. Myers would be just standing there menacingly in every scene like Where's Waldo but slasher character and you'd have to pay attention to subtle writing cues to realise he was there. Basically it would be an ADHD riddled mess of memes and stream of consciousness that would totally forget it was supposed to be a Nea X Wraith shipping fic.

The forums is the only place, literally no one plays this game except you weirdos. Besides you all act like I'm asking for erotica...I'm not, sex is a sin and you should be ashamed for thinking of it. Obviously the non-platonic bit means they hold hands. But not at first that would be lewd. I want at least 30 chapters of slow burn build up before we get to hand holding. I may or may not be exaggerating whatever disturbs you more.

Oh no 30 chapters of slow burn before they even speak to each other sounds like far too little you need to make this slow burn as slow as physically possible.

Well at least someone gets my sense of humour. Shipping is slang for relationship. When someone "ships" characters it generally means they want to see romantic writing or art dedicated to them. People are horrified because this is a horror game and Wraith is a slasher and Nea is a survivor. Or at least I THINK they are worried for Nea, to be honest given how Nea mains play they could be worried for Phillip. But I digress, this lot are all filthy hypocrites anyway because subtextually the Final Girl set up is all Freudian metaphor. I've watched enough horror movie satire and deconstruction to know.
Also I'm dragging this out and acting exaggeratedly loopy because my cat woke me up at two last night and this is the level of social interaction I'm stuck with now.
