How to report a steam player when I'm console?

I'm just wondering.

I just came across an obvious lag switcher during my game. Everytime I wanted to hook that person, their ping went from 80 to 1000+, so I could not hook that person.

I recorded it of course, so I have footage. But if I remember correctly, I need a steam ID from that person. But how can I even get that when I'm on PS4?

I reported that person ingame, so that's a start.

Anyone know what I need to do now?

you can search that person later on google and get thier ip64 if i remember the name correctly and then go to the support page of dbd select aditional report linkt the evidance with the id of the user and the most importatn thing is that you have to report this player by ingame report system without it they wond be able to do anything

Thanks for your answer. I tried that and I came up with a profile, but I don't know if that's the one. I don't want to falsely accuse someone, of course. They had a VAC ban on their profile, but that doesn't say anything.

true it would be simpler for other platform user to see the person profile in some way in game

Along with the in-game report, you can submit a ticket with video evidence to Support for the ACMs to review: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011

If you are unable to search their name on Steam, you can provide their Gamertag/Steam name where it asks for that information on the ticket.
