Help me with a Survivor and a Huntress build!
I have a build for my Survivor gameplay, but I'm hesitating a lot about two perks. Currently, I run Spine Chill, Iron Will, Resilience and Dead Hard. I think it's the classic "vault speed build".
I need your opinion about two perks: Dead Hard vs. Sprint Burst and Spine Chill vs. Adrenaline. Knowing that I'm playing solo 100% of the time.
And I started to play Killer recently. I decided to main Huntress. I have no idea what perks to run outside of BBQ and Iron Maiden. What perks would you recommend to complete the build? (Also, tips to play Huntress are welcome, even the obvious ones. I'm a beginner.)
Thanks for helping me with my builds. (And I do hope my English was fine.)

Keep spine chill for vault speed and info. Sprint burst is probably worse since you’ll be injured constantly with that build
Whispers is a great tracking perk for huntress and is a base killer perk. Also try corrupt from the plague or pop from clown

First of all, I'd just like to mention your English is really good. I'm assuming by the last line it's not your first language, and if so I thought you were natural with it before reading that line.
Second of all, I'd say use Dead Hard over Sprint Burst if you're doing a vault build. Both perks are great, but with Resilience alot of your time will be spent injured, meaning Dead Hard provides more value. Additionally, itll help alot when using it to get to a window as a killer may underestimate your vaulting speed.
Third of all, I'd use Spinechill. The main reason is obviously that your build revolves around speed vaulting, and you can't really have this build without Spine Chill. Additionally, Spine Chill provides info throughout the match, while Adrenaline is a one use perk that although excels in swf, isnt an amazing perk in solo queue due to you having no control of when it's used.
Finally, I'm not a great Huntress, but I'd reccomend Pop Goes the Weasel as she doesnt have enough map pressure to warrant Hex: Ruin. As for that last perk spot, Shadowborn isn't a bad shout on her, however dont use any perks that effect your terror radius.

Corrupt and Nurses for your Huntress build that my build and always gives me value.
The survivor build is fine.

The build I recommended for Huntress is based on if you don't have trouble finding people at beginning. If you struggle with this I would swap Nurses for Lethal and sure I guess Whispers (I don't like Whispers but understand why people use it).
Speaking of Whispers the reason I hate it is most of the value is at beginning and end. I wish it did not proc people on the hook. Would be nice if you could use it after unhooking to know if someone is lurking for the save.

Have you tips to use Whispers correctly? I used it a bit, but each time it's up, I feel clueless. (I'm still learning not to lose Survivor from my line of sight!)
Thank you, I'm doing my best to learn English by myself. I'm French.
Most of the time, Adrenaline comes when I don't need it... But it's been weeks I switch between it and Spine Chill. I'm still learning how to run the Killer, and my timing to vault isn't the best yet. I was wondering if SC + Resilience really make a difference between being hit or avoiding the swing.
You're the second to say Pop, I think I'm gonna give it a try.
Nurse's, I didn't think about this one... I like aura reading perks.

Using whispers is definitely hard and it’s actually not a perk I use regularly. There’s a guide on it by a YouTube called Ohtofu which is pretty good though

Goodluck at learning it then ^^ Learning new languages is hard but it seems like its paying off for you as you seem mostly fluent!
As for if it makes a difference or not; it can against good killers if you play the loop right. A good killer will almost always know what distance they can land a hit at, so if you're running Spine Chill and Resilience it not only reduces this distance but it also messes with the killers muscle memory as they've missed a hit that they thought they would hit. Depending on the loop and map, this could cost the killer a lot of time and could possibly be the difference between your team escaping and your team dying. Both perks are good too outside of their effects with windows which makes me encourage their use even more.

I've been playing a lot of Huntress, and you can copy my build if you want. It's imo, the best build to use if you want to play territorial:
BBQ, Pop Goes the Weasel, Corrupt Intervention, Iron Maiden
With Add-ons go for the Flower Babushka & Rose Root combo. This allows you to basically wind up and shoot your hatchets before a Survivor have time to react. Especially if you're going for long ranged shots.
The Rose Root helps throw off their prediction when trying to wiggle away from your hatchets with the extra 20% flight speed.
As for how to use the perks.
Obviously use Iron Maiden to reload faster, this allows you to be more risky with your shots because you won't take as long reloading.
BBQ should be used for long ranged snipes if you can help it, particularly on survivors on generators. But if you can, try to predict whether or not a Survivor will be a W gamer and shoot them from across the map when they least expect it.
Pop is for gen pressure, like I said you want to play territorial. Find a 3-gen and make sure it doesn't pop.
Corrupt is for early pressure. Not only to prevent Survivors from immediately working on generators, but also to find them since Survivors tend to spawn next to corrupt gens.
With aim, you want to just keep playing her and go for riskier and riskier shots. Eventually you'll get a feel on how to aim with her. Try to keep your mouse DPI to something you feel you can control rather than going for flicks all the time. You want to have consistency.
Not saying you shouldn't learn to flick, just don't do it when you're trying to learn her. Get the basics out of the way until you feel you can get good at her, then start doing crazier and crazier stuff with her.

I will check Tofu's guide then. Thanks!
Really? I mean, thanks, it means a lot to me. I wish to be fluent!
I see, I will keep improving my looping skills and learning vaulting distance and timing. I watched a video about the time SC + Resilience save to a fast vault and it was like 0.9 seconds. So I was wondering if really it worth it.
Pop and Corrupt seem to be popular choice in the answers. I will give them a try, and Whispers as well. If you had to chose between Corrupt and Pop, which one would you keep?
About Iron Maiden... I wanna use it only for the speed reload but... If someone comes out of a locker, do you take time to come back to down them? As a 110% Killer, I don't know if it worth it, unless the Survivor is close.
I never played game where I have to aim, I guess it'll take a long time before I can do a big ranged shot. But I'll try to go for riskier shots. For now, I don't care if everyone escapes at the end, as long as I feel I improved a bit/learnt something. I already adjusted my DPI to my tastes, I think it's perfect for me as it is now. So I can start learning with it.
What is "flick"? I hear this word often, especially about Blight, but I have to admit I have no idea what is it.
Thanks for the tips, it really helps! I will do my best to be at least a decent Huntress.
Oh, shoot. Like, Whispers is activated because someone's hooked, so it doesn't tell if someone else is actually around?

for huntress (i dont play her but im pretty decent with builds, id run an all seeing build. BBQ, im all ears, Whispers, and last one would be ruin for slowdown, Devour for fun, or corrupt for a better early game.
for solo survivor, id run spine chill and sprint burst. DH is nice but SB is more effective at prolonging a chase, especially when 99'ing it and using it mid chase. spine chill is a safer bet against most killers while adrenaline is better when communicated with a SWF group but when info is very little as a solo survivor, spine chill is very handy.

"Pop and Corrupt seem to be popular choice in the answers. I will give them a try, and Whispers as well. If you had to chose between Corrupt and Pop, which one would you keep?"
If you are using Whispers, use Pop instead. Corrupt is mainly for early gen-pressure as well as early tracking. But for constrant gen-pressure, you want to use Pop since it incentivizes you to do quick downs and hooks.
Definitely not. Iron Maiden is useful in terms of forcing survivors to be tracked by BBQ anyways, but it's not worth it to go out of your way to down them with your melee attack. You're a 110% speed killer, you need to create a zone within the map where you can dominate survivors and keep them there. If someone is spamming Iron Maiden screams though, you kinda have to get used to it's really really annoying. I hope BHVR does something about the spam.
Basically, use Iron Maiden for reloads and tracking information if BBQ didn't show you everyone's auras.
Best way to learn how to aim your hatchets is to look at the tip of your hatchet's handle and aim at the middle of the screen from there. Your best bet to getting better at Huntress (at close range) and learning her hatchet hitboxes is to try and throw hatchets over short loop tiles. Like the ones you often see in Gas Heaven or McMillan. Remember you sometimes need to aim higher than you expect.
A flick is when you look another direction to throw off the Survivor and then move back to their direction so they can't dodge it. It's very quick and it's mostly muscle memory and reflexes hence the term "flicking". I suggest watching CoconutRTS videos. He is one of the best Huntress to learn from if you wanna learn how to flick properly.
Actually let me link a couple of his videos:

I'm All Ears? But Survivors don't vault that often against Huntress, right? I always fake the window vault when I play Survivor against her. Most of the time, she expects the vault and throw the hatchet.
SB is awesome, I really like it, especially when I'm doing a generator in a dead zone. I can run to a safe tile quickly. But It stresses me out! I start running at the start of the trial, I feel I waste it. In the same time, I don't want to walk to save it, because I waste time then.
Oh, I started to watch Coconut on Twitch, I didn't even realize he has a YT. I'm going to watch these videos.
And thanks for the aiming tip. When you say the "tip of the hatchet", you mean the bottom one? I didn't know that! I think it'll help me a lot.
Thanks again for all the tips. Really helpful! I guess now all I have to do is practicing!

Yeah, the bottom tip. Line that up with the middle of your screen and that's where your hatchets will launch from. The more you play the less you need to use that to measure your aim. You'll just have an invisible crosshair on your screen where you know the hatchets will land.

honestly with SB, its fine to use it out of a chase, especially at the start of a game, it saves time if you need to cover some distance so i wouldnt feel bad at using it out of chase. I'd use im all ears because of the free value if they hop a pallet or window especially at shack. another useful one which im shocked i didnt say is nurses calling. probably even better.
