It is funny how many people complain about Wraith now because they can not bear with the fact that the guy got a good buff. It is like survivors are crying because they now have to put some work into beating a Killer and can not just play the same against any opponent on the roster.

Wraith even tells you when he is going for the hit and his tell is so obvious that you can not miss it. Also he is not completly invisible once he is near you so you have plenty of time to get to safety. However if you try to finish the generator in his face, surprice, he is going to hit you. You are not supposed to finish the generator in the Killers face without some kind of risk.

Sure Wraith runs Sloppy Butcher. But if you Self Care through that or the Claudette in your team does...well, why try to defend a bad play?

Overall Wraith is fine and can be outplayed quit well. He gets his hits in the open, sure, but every Killer is supposed to get you out in the open. Thats what Killers do.

He's def A tier now, but he is far from OP unless he uses his wallhacks addon

Most Wraiths are extremely predictable and therefore easy to read and outplay. You have to understand how he’ll play each kind of tile, and call his bluff.

For example, a long-ish loop with a pallet in the middle: they’ll either stand at the pallet and uncloak, or stand on the opposite side of the pallet, uncloak, then fake going one way but go the other so you drop the pallet and they can get a lunge hit on you on the side you dropped it from.

In the first case, pretend to stay at the loop. Wait for them to commit to the uncloak and then run away to another loop before they finish. The lunge won’t be long enough to reach you, if they chase you out of cloak they’re slow, and if they decide to cancel the uncloak and follow you in cloak they’re slowed down by the animation, and you get a big enough head start to reach another loop usually.

In the second case (they stand at the end of the loop and wait for you to drop the pallet), just expect them to fake going one direction and loop them around. Basically every Wraith will just fake lunging one way and double back. It’s just like Pig’s dash in this sense, only faster. If they do this too often you can easily avoid it and make them waste a lot of time trying.

Basically don’t be a survivor that runs to a pallet and drops it in a predictable fashion. They’ll expect you to do it and lunge to the side you dropped from. (Sometimes running to a pallet and then running back and dropping it from the other side can catch them off guard and get you a stun.) You have to keep your camera on him and always look out for the double backs and fakes. It also helps a lot if you know the limitations of Wraith’s lunge and how they tend to play tiles, so playing killer yourself helps a lot.

Also, Wraith gets a way longer stun if you hit him with a pallet while he’s in cloak, so most cloaked Wraiths will really respect pallets which you can use to your advantage. However, if he’s trying to bodyblock a pallet in cloak and you can drop it on him, do it and he’ll be stunned for quite a while which gives you time to make distance.

Personally I wouldn’t recommend just pre-dropping every pallet, you want to conserve some resources and play in a less predictable way. If you just run to pallet and drop, run to pallet and drop, you become very easy to predict and he’ll just go around and hit you after you drop. In which case you wasted the pallet for no reason.

Sorry, this comment is really long and rambling. I understand that Wraith can feel very frustrating to play against, especially if you’re a less experienced survivor. But he’s still an M1 killer at base so he’s definitely not unbeatable. Try to use every match against a Wraith to learn how to play against him and you’ll be looping, stunning and teabagging Wraiths at the exit gates in no time. :)

once wraith hit multiple survivors with sloppy game stops and people keep saying he is fine how the hell a stealth killer can be okey if he cannot be seen from far away and can see u through walles in 12 meters no gym is safe against that killer he is exteremly fast and now people strated to use him with bamboozle wraith uses gysm as a unsafe loop I haven't seen a wraith not using powerfull add ons in reds this makes his addons and bambozlle nerf required
