I didn't know Survivors can be this shameless...
These Survivors were Tbagging, pointing and nodding at every window, pallet and stun. When Devour Hope hit 5 stack and I got them downed for the Mori they just DCed like pussies.
I wasn't even mad by the blatant cockiness but when I get the upper hand they just DCed without punishment.(Who even cares about pipping down). This crap made me furious.

Just as an anecdote, I see more discos from red ranks than I do any others.

Who dafuq ever DCs on a pig, even when a pig stomps me you still walk out the game feeling like it was a fun match.
I really hope they make more killers with pig like trap mechanics in the future.

Rank Reset happened 3 days ago, if that person was purple before, they went back to 9 and losing 1 pip brought them to 10. Thats not really smurfing, really.

The fact you're making a forum post is pretty clear evidence they won. They DC'ed just to spite you, because thats literally all they can possibly do to piss you off. By getting angry at it, you just fall into the trap they laid and end up looking dumb yourself.

Survivors are always doing bad things, Aven, you know this.
Doesn't matter though because I can queue up as a red rank solo and get a ream of greens and browns like match making is scuffed atm, i think people pointing out rank discrepancy rn is so odd.

Every day, Survivors spend hours trying to use insults and peer pressure to control who Killers play, what perks they pick, and what tactics they use. They also repeatedly scream for the devs to change the game to conform to the Survivor Rulebook For Killers.
Survivor mains have 0 shame or self awareness. 😂

he got to basically play the entire match out, in the grand scheme of things, I think name calling is worse than DCing in a game.

I did my first group DC today only because we had 1 person who was playing with the killer. He was getting everyone else killed and the killer let that person live. He literally was butt dancing while we were dying didnt bother helping and pointed where we were. I'm not ashamed of that DC the killer and the crappy survivor deserved it.
Survivors who leave after getting hooked once or even downed once are just sad..learn to accept defeat people. You can't always win.

Saying that a Rank 10 close after Rank Reset is smurfing is just grasping for a straw to point with the finger on the Survivors. "Those bad people!!!"

It's really not, in context. I don't understand why you're leaping to defend survivors that were BMing at every turn and ragequit as soon as the tide turned against them. They're already bad people and not players you want to engage with; I don't need to find more reasons to label them as such.

Searching for rng keys while an alarm is getting more intense is funny and engaging and takes me off gens, I'd take that over the joy of running left and right like a mad man with a slinger behind me.

no dc penalty, no name and shame, every match is "random" and a depip at best just makes the next game easier or at worst takes one trial to reverse. No consequence, no shame, no real drawback for being selfish. We can either pass it along and deny the last couple of gens by quitting or just take it and convince ourselves we like it. One will cause nothing to change and the other could become a big enough issue they try something else IF they fix the console connection issues.

I can't stand this. Last night had a David that I spotted was heading straight to him and he pointed at a Jill who he was just healing (like ######### is that) I ignored Jill and killed the David. I killed the Jill too but later in the match.....#########.

But like ScottJund said, if you see they are being toxic, you can outright counter them by simply ignoring them in the utmost.

I'll admit I mixed up some of your posts with SenzuDuck's.
I wouldn't accuse 3 red ranks and a green rank of smurfing without context. In the context of the players behaving like bullies and pulling the plug when it's turned around on them, I'm not extending them the benefit of the doubt. By this account, they were playing like the kinds of people who would smurf - players who want to dunk on the killer and can't handle a loss. Plus at least one of those players already played enough in those 3 days to get back to rank 1; in my matches, ranks are already settling back into being reliable indicators of players' skill. If anything, the only reason I'd believe you could be right about the ranking down is that if these players constantly disconnect, then yes, it'd make sense for a rank 9-on-reset to become a rank 10. (But if that's the case, it also makes sense that those rank 4s aren't fresh out of rank reset, and they've been tug-of-warring with pip ups and double pip downs.)
It all boils down to me extrapolating more nasty motives when the players in question have already shown nasty motives. But I will admit there's some bias here. I'm a green rank killer and the number of times I get matched with parties like these, BMs included, hasn't exactly warmed me to the concept.
