items during the event

I've noticed that my P3 Nea just does not get event items to drop like other characters do. Both in the web and when I've been running Plunderer's and Appraisal. I can run those two perks on Zarina, for example, and get 2-3 event items per game. I tend to get keys with my P3 Nea and not any event items at all, even looting three chests twice in one game.
Does anyone else have this happen? Certain characters, maybe newer ones, tend to get a lot more items, or is it just me?
