A survivor told me DCing to open hatch is a "legit strategy" is this true?

This is such an incredibly rare occourence, even rarer when DC penalities are enabled (and also automtically punished). You can't punish the survivor getting the hatch because another survivor DCd, it's incredibly unlikely to be their fault, and if, by some miracle it is their fault, and they enouraged their friend to DC, they'll both have to wait 5 minutes to play.

The downside isnt big enough, especially since the Killer also gets punished for it.
Ban these guys or take away tons of bloodpoints from them.

The best thing in my eyes is that slugging is as a tactic (especially mass slugging) is a product of survivor using the Perma Sabo "tactic". I remember the times when it was nearly impossible to hook any survivor because all but the basement hooks were broken and agitation and iron grasp where just as meta as gen slowdown is today.

Devs said again lmao same devs that has same broken game for 2 months+bugs whole 5 years same devs that needed community to give them nerf/buff ideas because they couldn't do it themselves just look at first ds nerf and new one first one they did which made ds the most broken perk in entire game which new one was suggested by community and turned out perfectly good

What does that have to do with anything? Intended is intended. They created the game, they decide the rules, that's how it works.

Unfortunately if one is happy with taking a 5-minute ban for the Hatch, there's nothing else that can be done.

This is not a matter of opinion that we can "agree to disagree" on, it is an objective fact that creators/developers of a game are also the ones who decide the rules of the game.
When a game is created, it is created with rules. Those rules were decided upon by the game's creators and they alone can decide to change the rules. Players in custom matches can use different rules (Uno being a great example of this), but those are custom matches, not the "real" game.
That's how it works in every game ever made. Again, this isn't something we can "agree to disagree" on, it's how things work, objectively.

Who ever got banned for it? Ever in those 5 years? Name of person you know or streamer you watch because just few days ago certain streamer dc'd twice on purpose in row in front of his 1k followers and did he got banned? Nope dc once was bannable yes now it's not or they just don't care anymore for it I'm not saying dc is fine but when ppl write every day on forums each day every minute new thread about dc didn't devs clearly removed it because of problems they have with other platforms? So why ppl keep pushing same old ######### at us instead waiting for a fix in 6 days and than dc penalty will be renewed

Dc isn't bannable buddy people need to leave for multiple reasons and devs won't ban them for that and campinh and tunelling and slugging is accepted tactic by devs true so is dead hard one of devs said there's nothing wrong with dead hard yet what we see daily on this forums? "Pls nerf fead hard" they simply don't know what's healthy or not for this game proved many times as I already said up there look at their nerf of ds and look at the nerf community made for ds? Which one is more health the one they made so that u can have 1 minute of free objective or the new one community suggested ?if u ask me it's the community one.
Playerbase often has more info about game state because of playing every day which devs don't have time to or doesn't play often they work on game not in game and they always ask for feedback because that's their source of info from community that plays the game.

If you DC enough, the game times you out AND THEN BANS YOU.
Using my brain and this magic thing called 'logic'; this tells me that DCing is bannable. 😱Shocking, right?
And while the devs can change rules and perks based on feedback; until they do, the rules as written state Tunneling/camping/slugging are tactics.
You don't get to say 'Well, they MIGHT change them in the future, so they're exploits now! Agree to disagree!'

What is to gain from this? One person lose all the points they earned in the match and depip. The other one got few k's more of bp's so they can say ezzzzzzzz.

Fact: You can be banned for DCing.
Fact: Camping, tunneling, and slugging are tactics and tools a Killer can use.
Fact: You're wrong. And 'agreeing to disagree' does not change these facts. You don't get to say 'I think you're wrong; bye!' and walk away thinking you have a point when you don't.
And if people pointing out YOU ARE WRONG bothers you; stop replying. But you don't get to decide when the discussion ends just because you want to run away with the last word.
