Any clue on next update and Chapters?
So I can't find much about the next upcoming chapter or update from a crude internet search so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows about the new chapter and update and other stuff.

Well, the next mid-chapter update is (supposedly) fixing console lag, buffing Trickster, and nerfing keys and Stridor. There's more too it, but I can't quite remember everything.
We have no news on the next chapter, though there is some theorizing it will be a Candyman chapter due to a tweet from Tony Todd, the man who plays Candyman.

Back then they were just pranking us. But ey, maybe it really is him. At One point they said wich Killers are going to be Licensed next and wich Ones will be Original. But i cant quite Remember.

People have been saying "Oh this chapter was a filler, Candyman was supposed to be the chapter" for like every chapter starting with Silent Hill with the exception of Resident Evil. Like people are straight up CONVINCED Candyman is coming to dbd.

I think we'll get candyman at some point probably but not before the movie comes out which end of August so not next chapter because ptb should be out before then but maybe the one after.
Next chapter is likely an original and we don't know anything beyond that. If I had to guess we're looking at tome 8 next Thursday then a chapter teaser the Tuesday or Thursday after that followed by PTB on August 10th. Barring any crazy leak we're not gonna know anything before then.
EDIT: nvm it has to be ptb on the 17th if the chapter is coming out in september which it almost certainly is.

The only leaks I've seen were regarding tome 8 characters and rift but there hasn't nothing about chapter 21 anywhere.

Almo said on stream "the next killer? Yeah, he's a lot of fun" then he realized he gave away the character's sex by accident. So he said "she" then "it" to try and cover it up. So we know they're male. Only thing that's really... kinda confirmed

I think the next killer is Dracula because in Tome 8 Universus Alveo the cutscene shows a vampire drinking blood so I think it’s teasing a vampire killer

Agreed you could even have pumpkinhead link to a survivor like he does in the films, maybe some more obsession related things. Plus he is scary looking and we need more creatures like demo to be honest.

If Almo talked about the sex of the next killer, maybe it was a Demogorgon-style creature as the original killer, which yes, I hope it is fun and not another killer at a distance. If you have a license, you could say that it is Pennywise because, clearly the sex of him is not specified, Candyman cent who loses presence in Dead by Daylight by this leak of Almo.

Besides Candyman rumours once again, and the supposed 'Dracula' chapter (it's debated whether or not this theory entails an original or licensed Dracula), the only thing set in stone is the upcoming PTB and whatever patches that squeeze their way into the public platform... and that stupid Collection Event, which completely ignores ongoing outrage at the state of console play at the moment...

I like to pretend Trickster doesn't exist. Anyway, I must have read 'licensed killers'. My point was still right; no two killer releases in the same month.
