    I come over to help or avoid if I'm being chased.

    Also one of my favourite combos as killer is trail of torment & dragon's grip. Look survivors, one of your teammates has better together or blast mine :) you should go join in the fun

    I usually assume it's Trail of Torment, cause next to no-one uses Better Together. Since RE though, 95% of the time it's Blast Mine, which maybe seems like an indirect buff to Trail of Torment + Dragon's Grip?

    I run Better together for those ridiculous co-op gen challenges. I investigate yellow gens and go from there.

    Scope out the area if I see someone working on the gen I know it's better together. If I see no one I move on or wait a sec.

    I wait to see if it disappears after a few seconds. If it does, I assume it's trail of torment and move on. If it doesn't, I'll scurry over.

    Blast mine is exceptionally useful for this specific situation. Better together can lure survivors into bad situations, blast mine however is very temporary and can be used anytime. Basically a map wide indicator of "Theres a gen here, but the killer might also be here!" So god damn useful.

    believe it or not, i don't trust yellow gens, whenever i see one i expect Trail of Torment until i see otherwise

    To be fair, I use Better together for build "I see you, you see me" (Better together / Bond / Kindred / Aftercare). The build is to make tense team work between me and others.

    For the perk, I actually use it as "Im working on this Gen, dont lead Killer to this Gen", I dont really need other come to my Gen to rush. But leading Killer to me happens alot.

    I use this Aura build on Jeff.

    But I do use BT on Nancy too (Gen focus: BetterTogether / Spine chill / Resilience / Its not happening)

    Trail of Torment is almost always the case, which is what makes Better Together not even worth running. Why not just have it highlight red? or orange? or pink? or anything else?

    My initial reaction is usually scepticism as it could be trail of torment. However, if I know for a fact that the Killer is elsewhere (Perhaps he's just injured someone elsewhere on the map) then I might go there if I'm close enough.

    If its PH then it's almost certainly trail of torment. I used to run better together but nobody wanted to repair gens with me 😒

    I run prove thyself and blastmine. If I notice that the killer also has Trail of Tormen, I would just avoid using blastmine and only trigger it if the killer is close or if they are chasing the obsession
