How I feel about DBD after this event
Seriously though BHVR, fix your bugs and fix your content schedule as well as FIX THE ######### GRIND!
A new player can't get into the game that easily.

It used to be a 1 or 2. Because I know some people I know woudl wanna at least try it out.

This event goes to show how decent the grind could be but the devs only allow you that privilege for 3 weeks

This survey was the first in which I answered that I am currently Dissatisfied with Dead by Daylight. And it hurts me to answer that.

This game can be very unforgiving for new players. When I invite someone to try DBD, I have to teach them a lot. Killer powers, reveal perks, exposed situations, ect.
I honestly don't know how anyone can play this game casually without learning all the hidden mechanics.

Why would I ever recommend a game that doesn't even run smoothly on last gen and has one of the worst grinds ever? Just learning how most perks work takes hours.

I literally wouldn't be able to recommend dbd to someone in good faith. This game just isn't fun most of the time, but it's especially rough for new players.

I got my college group, 3 friends, to buy this game. None of them played more than 30 hours, especially with this console version. I can't recommend this to anyone more...

Dbd just isn't a lot of fun for new people to get into.
Things like blind timing and pallet dropping a killer picking up a surv is rather soul crushing to explain to a new person. To us veterans it's just "lol get better at timing lmao" but to them they just see a poorly made game.

I actually tried to get a buddy to get back into it after he left years ago. It was free on PSN so we both got it and he dropped off fairly quickly but I stuck with it.
He thought the RE chapter would be fun to get back into but even sitting on the same couch, PS5 thankfully so it actually works, he was dumbfounded by the amount perks, maps, loops, levels, etc. He simply had no desire to play more than a few rounds on my account so he could actually bring in the meta perks.

Ok well I play on Xbox. Would have been fun to do this one since they need to hear that the game is not in the best state right now. But perhaps they already know it..
