Please help me have fun again (console)
I am kind of sick of only being able to play “M1” killers. I play on console (PS4), and as we know, there is an extreme amount of glitches and bugs littered throughout the game. The game is still playable when you’re playing killers who just M1, but if you start getting into ranged or more precise killers (huntress, slinger, twins), the whole game implodes on itself. Well implodes might the wrong word, the hit detection is just so off that you cannot use your power correctly. Either it robs you of a hit, or it gives you a random hit you didn’t deserve (though this happens rarely). I used to be a pretty good huntress player, I was never great, but I was good. Now even against bad teams I’ll struggle because the hatchets don’t work. i even tested this with a friend, where I stood point blank in front of him and threw a hatchet directly at him. It hit 1 out of 5 times.
My main question is, what advice do you have for me to replace huntress? I played huntress previously because she was really fun, now I pretty much only play killers like wraith, who I love, I’m just getting really bored of not being able to play the more creative killers. I miss having fun with this game, now it’s sort of a stressful mess for me to deal with, and I desperately want to get that fun back.
is there any interesting or particularly fun builds out there that you’d recommend? I just want something creative that’s not just my basic doctor and wraith games I have to keep playing.
if you read all that, thank you so much for your time, I am just getting increasingly frustrated with how this game functions sometimes. I love the horror ascetic, I just miss the fun.

Well, to be honest. It's just patience.
I still play all the killers on the first gen ps4.
I lag quite a bit as well, but personally I never take them as normal matches anymore until the issue is resolved.
Think of it as more strict practice, if you could over come the actual limitations that's holding you back and still do better and better each time, just image what you can do when you're not lagging.
I use that as a motivator. Hell, this lag also taught me to use different builds and play styles I can enjoy

Oni is a good M2 killer that, from my experience, doesn't suffer a lot from lag (only when absorving orbs, but that's not a crucial moment). I recommend you try him.
If you still want to play Huntress, maybe try her double Iri combo? Try your luck with an instadown and follow up being a 115% M1 killer.

I paid nurse, slinger, Billy and blight mostly over all killers on PS4 and when twins came out I played them alot too. I’m on PC now and playing all those killers just became way easier but you can still play at red ranks on PS4 with enough patience and practice.

My advice play something else until the mid chapter and pray that it's good edit though you were struggling with frame drops
