  • INGAME: I am very disappointed about this event. The first day I was very happy, got some cakes. But, after an hour or so I realized how sad this was. As this being my first anniversary to participate in and all I saw was Bloodpoints after blood points. There was barely any "anniversary" tied in. I think the anniversary should've been tied in with the Mid Chapter so we can get a fun and festive decor on the lobby as well as some music and on DBD's actual anniversary date we could've celebrated with some rewards like in the Anniversary Stream. Anyways, with the Resident Evil chapter mixing up this event; multiple times per day/week my game would crash allowing my rank and blood points to be thrown away just like that. We also never got new festive skins for the Store; we did not get an actual event that allowed players to interact with different things in order to get other things (the crown was not like this. all you had to do was go up to it and grab it). I loved that one Lunar Year event (i think it was lunar) where the survivors and killers were scrambling trying to get the lanterns It was like a game of tag. I was not here for it but I am sure survivors and killers had enjoyed their time. But this event showed how selfish and rude people are. I have faced many killers wearing crowns who have farmed the crowns. (move it to another location just out of my reach or grab them). I am not saying killers should've gone easy on us; I am saying they didn't even let us get the crown even if we were to die.
  • GENERAL: I do not like how overhyped the event was. "It was going to be the biggest event." Firstly, this was a reskin from the 3/4th year anniversary and the crowns were exactly the same. The only thing that was added to them were 3 lines. Secondly, the anniversary event was really terrible from the beginning; crowns disappearing and cakes being unlocked every four bloodwebs. Now they didn't even fix the cake situation. But they fixed the crown one early due to lots of reports. I don't think reports should even be something to consider when an event is out. This event was poorly done and could've resulted in so much more with SO much potential. For me and others see this event is basically like a blood hunt. The rewards were of poor quality. I hope the next Halloween/Winter event is something bigger than this. I know it will be bigger anyways. I never wanted so many blood points and iridescent shards to be PERSONALLY be given by the devs in my life. I didn't think the extension helped either. It just made people cool off. I hope in the future events will NEVER be like this one.
  • RATING: Overall, I'd say this event would be given a 2/10. With the number of bugs, issues, overhype, and community backlash this event just began at a time where people were already mad about the amount of bugs in the current state of DBD. This event for me was a more bloodpoint gilded stampede event. Sure; I did appreciate the bloodpoints but at some point I just feel like that was pretty much it. I hope ya'll learn fom this event. Love you guys so much but you really dropped the ball. :(
