Is there actually any statement regarding last gen console performance at all?
So as anyone who has attempted DbD on last gen console lately is aware the game is practically unplayable.
Tonight I took leave of my senses and decided to play a few games to do some daily rituals. Here's a brief summary:
Game 1. Deathslinger.
Everytime I aim my gun the game freezes for a few seconds and target gets free distance. Every time an exhaustion perk is used ditto. I spend 80% of the game as no power slinger.
Game 2. Repeat of the first only now on fractured cowshed so it's even worse. Also it's a head on swf. Head on is an exhaustion perk...
Game 3. Clown. Moderately better. Still lags when Exhaustion perks are used but at least I have a power.
Game 4. Clown again. Almost certainly a swf? Check. Lags then entire game? Check. Phantom hits? Check. Getting stunned by things I'm nowhere near? Check. And the salt in the wound. Key? Check.
Playing on console at the minute is literally less fun than being at work and from what I can tell BHVR doesn't seem to have even acknowledged the current problems with console.

This is the same game where on console dropping the pallet and healing someone are still the same button. They give very little consideration to consoles quite frankly.

They acknowledged the issue and we hope the update on the 27th will fix performance.
Why they even released the update in this state might be the better question

I'm apparently a bit masochistic, so I've also been playing some games through the performance agony (ps4). On top of that, I've been trying to learn two new killers I just bought a little while back. Same thing, constant small stutters in framerate and complete freezes when trying to load a special power. Most of my pyramid head trails are just wild guesses because the game freezes so much when charging it I don't have time to actually aim.
And god forbid if someone used dead hard...
Sometimes it gets so bad the audio starts bugging out too, flickering on and off like an auditory seizure. Its really bad. Even worse than the lag switching issues from back in the day.
