Can blind survivors see pyramid's cages?
Before I try anything stupid, can blind survivors see cages or...?

Cages are ignoring so much perks, so i think survivors can see cages but i never tested.

Blindness doesn’t obscure killer powers such as fountains for plague, traps for pig, etc

Blindness doesnt affect cages. You will still be able to see them.

Usually things tied to a killer power can't be affected by blindness. Pyramid Head's cages and Pig's boxes are shown to you no matter what.

As a rule of thumb, white auras are unaffected by blindness status effect. Cages fall into that category.

I never understood why when i hook someone i can see the hook they are on in yellow but i cant see the cage to prevent camping lol its so weird.

If you read the blindness status effect, you will see that it does not affect the cages.
"The Blindness Status Effect impairs all Aura-reading abilities of Survivors, temporarily disabling them."

Because cages makes so much survivor perks useless. DS and BT will not work, exhaustion effect will not restart. So you can not camp cages. Cages already so strong

Because cages are spawned furthest away from you in an empty Chest spawn location. You do not know the exact placement of this cage.
You do know the exact placement of the hook, because you quite literally put them there.

Normally that doesn't need to be revealed, really bad because they are totally different things between fountains and traps.

How? Even survivors blind, they can see you hooked survivor on which area. But cages are different. They can spawn anywhere. So you wanna make survivors run all map for safe? Sure lol

Bro differences about hook and cages it's that cages are more faster and that would be a good buff for Pyramid Head if i don't wrong myself it isn't used so much never at high ranks.

I don't think the cages count as auras, which is what blindness blocks.

This will make game unplayable against him. Just think, all survivors blinded. And you put one of them to cage. How they will know where is it spawned? At least they can see hook area, they can look and find survivor. Cages are different.

They can't but Hex totems aren't hard to find, they can find that totem in like 3 mins if they want, and of course if they use perks for find Totem it would be more unfair for the killer, and so it would be a right buff.

Yes, and 99% of pyramid head players would facecamp cages and prevent the save prompt even being shown. To avoid this they removed the ability to see auras + added the teleporting cage feature.

They count as objectives. Same as Jigsaw boxes - they're not affected by aura perks.

It’s a matter of standardization, just as a general rule of them blindness doesn’t affect killer powers. It is necessary IMO

I remember all of those posts too lmfao. Same posts appeared when they changed his Rights of Judgement from 0.5s to 1s and if anything that was a buff to good PH players.
The forums will see any nerf to either side and absolutely run with it to say the entire perk/character/side is completely ruined.

Imagine how strong Third Seal would be on Pyramid if it worked on cages. Cages can spawn anywhere and you might need to run all around the map for the rescue. On bigger maps like RPD this would be a free kill.

I think it's just Killer Powers which don't get shown. Rookie Spirit gens are also white and I am be pretty sure that Blindness hides those Auras.

Blindness does not effect white auras, only yellow ones (survivors) or red ones (objectives / killer).
So PH Cages, Plagues fountains, Pig boxes, Nemesis chests can always be seen, even if blinded.
