Switch getting raw deal on blood hunt….

With cross play off with update delayed a week, means queues times are going to be excessively long. I can’t utilize the blood hunt properly if I’m waiting 15+ minutes per match.

can they not delay the blood hunt?

my fear is that it's not going to be better at all..... Just sucks that double BP and the insta queues are for other platforms.

No cross-progression. No performance update. No delaying the Bloodhunt.

Bad enough so many platforms were negatively affected for the Anniversary Event. Fine, okay, I can see why a big event like the anniversary can't be postponed. But now, the other platforms are getting an update while the Switch will continue to be negatively affected during the Bloodhunt. Come on.

The alternatives are either getting probably the worst patch in switch dbd history or no bloodhunt. I honestly can't believe, as a switch player who plays crossplay off the majority of the time, what I'm reading. Be GRATEFUL you're still getting a bloodhunt when they could have told you "no" and that we aren't getting this patch yet. If they're telling the truth, you would have gotten far less out of the hunt if they pushed out the patch for your precious crossplay.

The alternative isn’t no blood hunt. The alternative is blood hunt after switch gets the patch.

also I don’t have to GRATEFUL for faulty product that I’ve paid for. It’s there job and responsibility. Simping for a corporation is not a good look.

depends on when you play. My hours with cross play on are insta. With cross play off, I’ve waited 20 minutes for same time. Switch is the smallest player base so it may help a little bit I still see long queue times

Knowing bhvr, one of the alternatives absolutely would have been no blood hunt 100%. Wanna know how I know this? Two years ago when a midchapter patch came out that was postponed on switch that had an event attached to it, they just never gave the event to switch, even after the patch came out. That event would have been the first switch event to happen, but they flat out never gave it to us. If they did it for a big event why would they not do it for something smaller like a bloodhunt?

If you paid for a faulty product, that's on you, not the developers, especially since you have the ability to get rid of the game. Also, they are in fact doing their job. Not doing their job would have been seeing the issues that were being caused on switch and still putting out the patch knowing the game doesn't work. So they are in fact doing their job. They can't magically fix everything in under an hour so that things will be ready. Things take time.

If you still think I'm "simping for the company" over one thing, fine whatever. I really don't care what some random person I've met for half a second on the internet thinks of me.

Actually, I'll giving you something. If you are a switch player that does play with crossplay on majority of the time (and it sounds like you are), I can see how this news that we aren't getting the update in time for the bloodhunt probably seems like the worst thing on the planet in this game. However, depending on the side I play I don't generally turn crossplay on, only as survivor do I sometimes do it. So to me, I just read "shorter queue times (supposedly)." Which to me, fine we aren't getting the update which sucks, but at the same time that's great news. Shorter queue times? Sign me up.

The game should never have been released on Switch to begin with. Or they should have given you guys the mobile version
