Can being a friendly killer get you banned?
I usually let survivors escape, I just like being nice to the community and giving something back to the players. Someone mentioned they where reporting me after I let them escape. I've let around 200 survivors escape so can I be banned? I don't farm with people or just side with one survivor. On games I choose to do this it's all the survivors I choose to spare or just one for hatch as an act of mercy. I even do this for killers, I'll help my team but then just don't escape after they all have escaped (unless they have died).

Pretty sure you can't be banned. Thx for being a good person to those people though

No, it's not against the rules to allow the survivors to escape, otherwise you'd arguably be breaking the rules every time you lose a game

Only of your actions can be construed as "forced farming", and by that it's not letting other Survivors play as intended.
Example, I like to farm Killer dailies and challenges. Just now I waa doing Clown daily to hit intoxicated Survivors and get chase time. Was chasing a David, not hitting him just staring at his back. Eventually he stops, stares at me, and shakes his head no, so I left him and found a Jake to chase.
Had I say, followed the David and kept throwing bottles at him to force him off gens but never attacked him that could be reported and be bannable.
As for being "nice" and letting the last Survivor go, unless it can be proven you were working together, both you and the other Survivor are safe

If you’re not holding the game hostage or trying to team up with the other side then you should be fine. I show mercy to survivors pretty regularly.

Nope, you can't be banned if you're friendly, though Bhvr isn't too keen on the idea, you won't be banned.
But if you work with other people to kill other survivors or purposely farm them and prevent the poor victim farm back, then that's bannable

Nothing in their post said they were preventing the survivors from doing generators and leaving.
So they broke no rules and thus can't get reported for it.
As for the OP.
Some people are just sore losers who can't stand watching their teammates win and will make up any excuse to try to justify their unfounded anger.
You should just ignore those people.

I remember I think a week or two ago, I let these survivors farm as their teammate disconnected, the end-game chat was full of whiny priveliged kids...
They were MAD at me for letting them farm, so I just said shut up and be grateful and left.
