I would say its still worse then prior to the resident evil update but only moderately. This is because the frame-drops that do occur are still very bad and can last multiple seconds, but it actually feels good to be able to use your power without them (mostly).

Using Nemesis' tentacle doesn't freeze my Xbox 1 S everytime. The performance still needs work of course.

I have had the occasional frame skip (like one or two frames so barely noticeable) when a lot is going on but no frame drops so better than it was before the patch

To be fair I think it was more the downloaded and played a game in 8 minutes part. My old PS4 is done, now I'm waiting on my Pro. It's going faster, but with the file copying it will still take 15 minutes.

Possibly. But the entitled attitude I got from some annoyed me. If you don't have the answer right away, why bother commenting with a sarcastic tone instead of just moving on?
Also someone assuming that I was able to play immediately even though I said I was working and unable to see what it's like. That was weird.

One think that I noticed is that my PS4 doesn’t go on Jet mode quite as often with dbd now.
they might fixed that surprisingly….

My basic Ps4 wasnt doing it in game anymore but it did start doing it while trying to load into a killer match up. Then it went quiet after I found a match, so might be better in some areas but worse in others.
More testing needed though.

I just played three survivor games. It felt so much better. I think I only felt a couple of small lag spikes out of the entire three matches. I was even loading into the matches faster than usual.
Definite improvement and much more playable. I feel ok to wipe the dust off Mikey now and take him out to spook some survivors. I have not touched killer in nearly a month.

Just played the first match, with nemesis.
Still freezes after a tentacle hit, and hooking. No freezes seen when bloodlust kicked in and way better than for this past month. Far from perfect but not kidding, this patch saved dbd for me.

The xbox dl was over 21G and I have played 6 matches so far, it still has a few stutters here and there but it is light years ahead of where it was just yesterday.
