"Several gameplay & performance issues fixed"
You must've gotten the guy who made the Pro-pain pun to make that joke too. I mean, I expected it. Bhvr didn't fix a major game breaking issue, shocker. Hell, sometimes it's even worse than before! About 2/3s or so of the player base haven't been able to play for a month or two now and was relying on the mid chapter to fix it, but no, next to nothing was fixed and that time spent "looking into the issue" must have been spent looking through a blindfold. I personally uninstalled due to the Cyberpunk cosplay going on, but I know no one cares about that, but what happens when more and more players can't tolerate it? Less players in the system, more unbalanced queues, less people to push skins onto, not only is it a kick in the teeth for players, but long term Bhvr is shooting more than just their foot. They have royally screwed the pooch, and when they say they are going to repair the situation, they give the pooch a bow and screw a different pooch out of sight.

Huh I haven't had any massive issues. Since the update. The issues are still there but drastically better and if they keep this up I may be willing to support the game again but until then no.
Like I haven't been able to use deadhard since twins came out. I can finally use it

A lot of my issues have been fixed and I’m on an og Xbox One. It’s not perfect but is certainly much better

Same here, but on PS4 Slim. It's actually the best performance I've ever had since 2019.

It pains me too see so many players settling for the bare minimum and/or brown nosing the devs. It's barely fixed with only slight improvement and after 2 months of the game being broken and 5 years of the game being released, it's inexcusable. Period.

exactly, it also runs A LITTLE better only if you play surv, I tried playing killer and with some characters it is a total disaster, tried playing twins and it froze every single time I tried to use Victor.
This is beyond ridicolous and I really think it is time they give us a clear explanation.

I supported them for a long time but they clearly did not invest a dime to make the game better.
I am sure they'll do fine without our money...
for the treatment we are receiving I would feel stupid to keep on supporting this game.

Could it be that other players simply have a different experience than yours?

it does not really matter, if I was the only one who has problems I would think on fixing my internet or console, but it is clear that a fair amount of players are having a bad experience.
If someone is doing better I am obviously happy for them, I didn't rant against other players, but against who should keep the game healthy, if you release a product, it has to work perfectly for anyone that can buy it, or this, or you clearly state that on certain consoles or older pc this game should not be used anymore.
That means simply being honest with clients.

No product that has ever been released works "perfectly". There isn't a single piece of software out there that doesn't have bugs.
Don't confuse a vocal minority on a forum for "a fair amount of players". Fact is, people who don't have problems with the game are much less likely to come to the forum to talk about how they're not having problems.

still there is a good amount of people having issues, and there is a difference between not working perfectly and being unplayable.
I play this game since 2017 and it never has been perfect, but you go thru certain bugs and issues, another story is when those issues compromise the gameplay.
It would be enough to clearly say what is obvious now, that they can only do so much to improve performances on older consoles...would at least be a sign of respect.

My performance on PC has been doing a lot better. The menu's run smoothly and there's less stutter overall. I haven't been on any of the danger maps, but tbh individual maps never impacted my PC performance. It was just overall painful and stuttery, especially when a killer with partical effects was in play.
Edit: I also haven't frozen in place for 10 seconds at any point, so that's a huge plus.

I'm on base ps4 and the issues are fixed for the most part, stutters happens very rarely ( or only on certain maps) OR if someone uses dead hard, and even then not every deadhard freezes the game for some reason.
