The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Every licensed map is trash
Except Badham, probably.
Anyone else noticed it? Just look at it:
- Haddonfield - no comments.
- Gideon - indoors trash, was even worse before the rework.
- Hawkins - indoors trash, joke pallets and hard to find gens.
- Midwich - hallways of doom and gens hidden behind 7 seals.
- RCPD - no comments.
That is why I'm afraid of the next licensed chapter, which will bring one more abomination of level design to the map rotation.

Haddonfield needs to be reworked, open doors at top of houses and move gens so players cant watch the stairs.
Gideon, it's an okay map but far too many god pallets for the majority of killers.
Hawking's, actually pretty good. Its loops are different and get stronger once the pallet is down meaning thought need to go into it not "I'm at another safe loop"
Midwhich, its once again not bad. Wish the classroom had a pallet in and maybe another way upstairs from the centre would be great.
RPD, yeah it dont play well. Too big and messes up most killer powers.
Bad ham, strong loops and more in the favour of survivor but not the worst out there, its alright

Lack that RCPD sometimes ruins performance.

That's from the killer perspective, but have you tried playing these map as a survivor?
1 -
I just made a thread about it but RPD is actually a map I love.
1 -
It runs fine for me, but I could see that being an issue for others. Then again that's mainly on bhvr
Well I probably play more survivor than killer (especially recently due to the killer lobby times)
It's from both perspectives, I'm not going to take sides as I play both roles. I enjoy balance and that's what I'd aim for, so yes as survivor I still enjoy maps like hawking's and still think haddonfield and the game etc. Should be changed

I unironically like Gideon and think it's a balanced map

I think The Game could be a great map if they make it have less safe pallets. Badham COULD be a good map if it weren't so damn big and didn't have a bunch of safe areas. Everything else is absolute dogshit.

I'm too biased against RPD to answer to that fairly.
Midwich is always fun as an SH fan, but there's too many long stretches of space without as much to work with. In all honesty, Alchemilla Hospital would've been a better choice. Shorter and wider hallways with a bit more map diversity (but not much). Or maybe Nowhere, which is basically Alchemilla+.
Gideon used to be horrible. I still don't love it now, but it's definitely better and easier to navigate.
Hawkins is essentially Lery's 2. Nothing too spectacular one way or the other.
Badham and Haddonfield are similar as well imo. My main problem with Haddonfield is that it looks like crap and isn't that accurate to the movie. It's lacking a lot of interesting spots from it as well. I know the Myers house isn't on the same street as Tommy and Lindsay's houses, but why not add them? We already have a van and a patrol car that I assume are meant to be Bob's van and Brackett's cruiser.

The game is one of the most balanced maps in the game tbh. The safe pallets are basically required for it though, as the map offers many advantages to killers.

The only ones I disagree with are hawkin's and midwich. Both of these maps are not nearly as bad as the other licensed maps and I am quite fond of them to be honest. I'd take them over coldwind farm any day, both as killer and survivor
0 -
I wholeheartedly disagree. I love Badham and Hawkins.
Edit: I know nobody considers Springwood a 'licensed map' in full, but I do, so :D
1 -
Oh yeah badham exists too I guess. Why do we need 5 version of that map? I never understood that
0 -
Of course you'd say badham, one of the most survivor sided maps besides Haddonfield. Also why cry about not finding any gens when there's so many perks that find them for you?
0 -
Yeah the practically identical general landscapes are a bit pointless; just make 2 maps my God

I'm not sure if you're talking from a survivor or killer POV. Gideon was great before rework. I enjoy the design of the rework, but too many safe pallets imo.
Midwich/Hawkins I enjoy a bit. Ive had both a lot, so I'm finding myself really understanding thr maps more.
RCPD is hard (looks great), but there are clues to gens in the rooms and its essentially a figure 8 with branching rooms.

Midwich is not bad at all, there are 3 safe pallets and good vaults between the classrooms, plus the size is perfect
Long and wide hallways are better than Lery's and RPD's mazes

Midwich is the worst map they’ve ever made, it’s awful gameplay wise, but also visually just looks disgusting.
0 -
Springwood is definitely trash gameplay wise, more so than Haddonfield if we're talking about variations 4 and 5 (the bigger ones). Hawkins is bad both visually and gameplay wise to me, I only like the portal room effects. That is the best thing about that map. They should've gone with the mall. Midwich is excellent and I always enjoy playing on it, especially as Doc and Nurse.

Most of these maps aren't fun from survivors perspective either least for me.
0 -
Hawkins is easily bottom 5 maps for me at least as a killer. Even as a survivor I hate hawkins.
0 -
Pretty much...Haddonfield used to be the worst map for me now it's RCPD. The rest of them I could take of leave.
0 -
That's what I meant. Most of those maps, like Hawkins and MIdwich, are ez win for the Killer and hell for survivors.
0 -
Worse than the houses in Haddonfield? 🤢
0 -
I didn’t mind haddonfield that much when I was a killer main so yeah, Midwich is the worst for me. Haddonfield has cool details and lighting.
0 -
They just look really dated and not very movie accurate. After seeing how they reworked the Coldwind house, I'm hoping Haddonfield gets a similar update.
0 -
Imagine they get Alien license. Imagine Hawkins 2.0, but in space. Or The Thing license: Hawkins in Antarctica. The only horror license that won't bring some new indoor hell would be Jason, but he is not coming, as we all know.

I don't mind Hawkins or Midwich as killer or survivor. I actually really like Midwich as survivor and killer.
RCPD not a fan as either killer/survivor.
Haddonfield - meh - it's an ok map - not my fave not my least fave
Gideon - Another meh map for me - prefer it more as a killer than survivor actually (especially with Doctor)

I like Gideon, Hawkins, Midwich and RPD, fight me.
0 -
I like them all except game. Really can't get into that map. Hawkins is fine and nicely balanced, I like Midwich also. Haddonfield I used to like until I reached rank 12 as a killer 😅
0 -
I don't mind Badham and Haddon field. But I despise Midwich and don't like RCPD.
0 -
To each their own. I love the Midwich map especially playing as killer.
0 -
Unpopular opinion but I actually like springwood....
0 -
I'd say they're most prettiest maps in game but about gameplay I agree they're not nicest
0 -
The only reason why I would hate most of the indoor maps is, your pretty much spending half of the match trying to find a gen.
0 -
Same well not RCPD. I personally feel that map sucks for survivor and killer. The rest are cool. I personally like Midwich (1st) and Gideon (2nd) and this from my killer perspective. As for Gideon Brutal/enduring is something I am likely to have so that map get ate up pretty quick. I just love kicking things faster and the "OH #########" moment when they drop a pallet on me, get hit, and realize that the pallet is already gone because of this combo. Same with spirit fury but I don't run that as much. Hawkins is okay but I feel I only like it because I hate most maps and it rarely shows up. I just hate being on the sun (Coldwind) more than anything.

tbh I hate those maps from killer too. Not cause they are particularly hard to win in but because they generally just revert most killers to basic m1 killers and their powers are fairly irrelevant. That's why I hate these maps so much they aren't fun for either side. Also I'd argue that hawkins for most killers is actually survivor sided.
